As far as the seasons go, I agree with you to a point, however, I think it's silly that people should have to lose intentionally in early rounds because they have a better chance of getting a useful card. At this point it's clear that the reward structure needs to be looked at, because people don't care about the 3rd round and finals loss rewards because there are less opportunities for epics.

This thread is getting ridiculously long (almost 400 pages yeesh!), but a couple hundred pages back I pointed out a couple of things that are worth reiterating now.
1. I strongly recommend you do NOT store picks. There is *absolutely zero* difference in the drop rate based on saving picks vs. picking right after a game. We limit the amount of cards in your collection for performance reasons, and as some of you have discovered storing huge amount of picks on certain hardware causes it to crash. We will be making it harder to store picks in the future because we do not want people melting their phones. Again, storing picks does not change the drop rate, so rest assured picking as you go still nets you the same card drops.
2. The Season Game matchmaking has to balance between matching people with similar deck ratings (yes, we check vs. your whole collection so attempting to game the matchmaker with lower cards and subbing in good ones later does not work) and starting Season games in a timely matter. We don't want people to wait too long before a Season starts. As the game has progressed and players are getting better decks as you already have seen we sometimes end up with Seasons that have some better players in them. Our next update has some changes to help make this matchmaking better. However, we are continuing to look at ways to make this even better with the next update. We agree that imbalanced Season games are frustrating, but we also don't want people waiting 3 days to start a Season to find the perfect match of people. In some ways this mirrors the real NBA league. Some teams are just simply better than others for that Season. As some of you have noted even the lower end rewards in a Season have a chance to make your team better though, so playing out a "bad" Season is still worthwhile.

On your first point, the reason i store picks is not because i think its higher chance of getting something good. It is simply because it is much much faster than picking after every game. Im Tired of having to go and train some random cards every 20 games just to make space in my deck to be able to play more games. My phone has no problem with me drafting 1000 picks in 1 go but if some1s phone cant gandle that than no one is forcing them to hoard picks. Please dont take away the ability to hoard picks.

Hey NWGameDad,
I understand the devs dont want people melting their phones and all but if you limit the cards we can store up can the devs at least increase the amount of cards we can hold in our decks? 100 limit is pretty low especially for us trying to fill out our catalogs. Also any clue on Magics BC from 1987 for us too look forward to or do we gotta wait like good little boys and girls. Appreciate a dev that actually gives feedback and checks in and cares about the game. keep up the good work!Comment

Thanks for replying. For saving picks these are reasons that I think it still is a benefit even if there is no drop rate improvement:
Far higher chance to combine commons and uncommons. This is nice for both catalog purposes and slight boost in exp gained for the two cards.
Second, it is slightly faster imo to do all the playing and drafting separately. Otherwise the extra transitions got each screen take a while.
For season, I think there is two arguments against the "it's like a real season". One, real seasons have catch up mechanics to help bad teams. The only maybe catch up mechanic in season is losing in the first or second round. The worst spot in the entire season if you don't need rares is second place. Well not making the playoffs is worse. But the mechanics don't really support making the worse teams get better like in the actual nba. The other issue in regards to time is, the players in the 1000-1300 or so range basically will never get to be the "king" of their league. Except for first seasons with new players it feels like you need a minimum average of like 1800 to even have a chance at winning, and of course there's many unwinnable seasons.Comment

Before you combine two cards make sure you max out both cards then combine and max that pro card to get the highest stats for that card.
Make sure your cards are energized and in the correct position. ie, LeBron is a SF he will lose less energy in the SF position compared to the PF, if you have good cards where you can watch and have plenty of good cards at a position by all means play out of position ie, Lebron Legendary starting SF and Lebron epic rookie backup SF Then lets say Paul Pierce epic at PF if you dont have a good PF.
Support cards have some effect in season mode which we dont really know the developers say they do so get some good ones that help out your weakest skill set.Comment

i'd rather wait 10 hours, to be honest.
well, but in NBA there is that great thing called salary cap. here not. winning a season depends actually on how many epic packs you've bought.Comment
