Anyone Have Anthony Davis Pro max stats? Or should i not bother. I need a Freakin good Backup SG!!

Had a Pro of him. High defense, moderate O for a big man, decent BC and MG. If you already have T.Young though, he's still a higher overall rating than Davis at the PF.

I have no idea what the odds are of getting an Epic with a 1st or 2nd round loss, but the payoff is definitely better in the 1st round.

Best possible payoff with a 1st round loss, is a guaranteed Epic Pro, and since it's a Team Pack, there are two potential added benefits.

1. If your "favorite team" in the game is actually your favorite team, you'll likely get a Epic Pro version of a player you really like

2. If you're more clinical in your approach to the game, you can choose your favorite team based on which one will give you the best chance at a particular player that will suit your needs, OR you can isolate which team has the best Epic Pros on average, and just stick with that team, in hopes of getting something really good regardless.

Second Round loss gets you a Team Pack and a Player 6 Pack, which basically just amounts to a bunch of random cards, one of which MAY be an Epic (possibly two, if you are EXTREMELY lucky, but they will almost certainly not be two of the same card), and the chances of it doubling up another Epic you already have are slim, though not impossible. By my count, there are 102 Epic player cards in the game. So, if you have, say 6 Epic cards, then your chances of doubling up would be at 5.9% any time you receive any Epic card from a pack (since you can't get Support cards from packs).

So it all depends on how many Epics you already have.

We can't know for sure which option is better, since we don't know the drop rates on Epics in Player 6 Packs or Team Packs (or drafts, or Player Packs, or Division 6 Packs, or Epic Packs...), but I'm going with 1st round losses just because the payoff is undoubtedly better.

That being said, I lost 1st round last night intentionally, and got 2 Kirk Hinrich cards, so there's that.

I'd love to see someone buy 100 team packs and see what the rates are for epics. 100 isn't a huge sample size but any higher it'd be an unreasonable amount to spend.

I've read of some people purchasing 10-15 team packs and have pulled an Epic. So I'd bet my money that 100 team packs would have to get you at least one Epic Pro or more. Well, assuming you don't switch favorite teams for every pack you buy lol. 100 team packs equates to $500 though, so you'd probably be better off throwing that all on Epic packs and possibly snagging some high Legend cards. Hell, even a Legend Pro even.

First time a post here but I read almost everything before I though about quitting this game. Finally, after only 1 Epic (John Starks...) drafted in 3500 wins and 1200 loss, I pulled a legendary Lebron. Very happy and it made me stick to the game and an hour ago, I drafted Chris Paul. That's a good 1-2 punch, but not enough to beat guys in my season who probably unloaded is paycheck in that game. Anyway, very happy to have those 2 cards and hoping for more to come!

I see. If you've got a Pro Rare A.Davis in your possession, then yeah don't worry about Favors. Favors is definitely one of the lower Rare cards.

Oh yeah Favors stat line is 191/233/94/162 im assuming Davis is way better since real life he is!

Hey guys, longtime reader but after this season i felt like it was finally time to reply.

Let it stand on record that I really enjoy this game, and spending time on it is one of my hobbies since I started it a few weeks ago. I won my first season without much knowledge of the game and assumed it would be easy from then on out. Big mistake lol. I got Pistol Pete epic as reward and pulled epic Mark Price about 500 games in which seemed pretty lucky. Starting from my second season on though I have started being put into seasons where 25/30 of us have stats between 1000-1400 and competitive then theres the one guy 1700ish in all stats who locks up his finals win on day 1, making it much less fun. This season however its one guy with 2k+ stats that left me scratching my head. Hes the only one above 1500 in any category and clearly outmatched all of the rest of us. I hope that gets fixed sometime in the future.

My overall pulls have been mediocre, no legends still. Quick game record is 1100-379 and so far I have pulled the Price and last night a Steve Nash epic. I caved on an epic pack and got a lousy epic Bogut so now Im scared to buy any more lol. Oh well, hoping next season goes better and thanks for giving me things to read to make my team a bit better!

You might wanna save up some $20 bills then lol. You may find yourself going on a 3k-3.5k game drought without an Epic and then finally being rewarded with an Epic Marcin Gortat(might as well have been a Rare card with his stats) before going on another 1k-2k Epic card drought, like I did lol.

I've played your quick game LU a couple of times now. Pretty cool starting to see people here pop up on my list.

Nice! I figure since I've bought so many epic packs and landed a fair amount of legendary cards and of course epic cards I won't get any for a long time.

This thread is getting ridiculously long (almost 400 pages yeesh!), but a couple hundred pages back I pointed out a couple of things that are worth reiterating now.


1. I strongly recommend you do NOT store picks. There is *absolutely zero* difference in the drop rate based on saving picks vs. picking right after a game. We limit the amount of cards in your collection for performance reasons, and as some of you have discovered storing huge amount of picks on certain hardware causes it to crash. We will be making it harder to store picks in the future because we do not want people melting their phones. Again, storing picks does not change the drop rate, so rest assured picking as you go still nets you the same card drops.


2. The Season Game matchmaking has to balance between matching people with similar deck ratings (yes, we check vs. your whole collection so attempting to game the matchmaker with lower cards and subbing in good ones later does not work) and starting Season games in a timely matter. We don't want people to wait too long before a Season starts. As the game has progressed and players are getting better decks as you already have seen we sometimes end up with Seasons that have some better players in them. Our next update has some changes to help make this matchmaking better. However, we are continuing to look at ways to make this even better with the next update. We agree that imbalanced Season games are frustrating, but we also don't want people waiting 3 days to start a Season to find the perfect match of people. In some ways this mirrors the real NBA league. Some teams are just simply better than others for that Season. As some of you have noted even the lower end rewards in a Season have a chance to make your team better though, so playing out a "bad" Season is still worthwhile.

Is it me or this thread is more active than the rest of the nba 2k section combined. Everytime i go there its the same threads with barely any new replies. Now the only thing i play is the park sometimes and theres like no threads on it at all. I just got back into bf4 which is the only 2 games i got. Sold that garbage call of duty ghosts which brings me to my next point. What the hell is going on with next generation games? They gave us a few release titles and its like they forgot about us. Release more games already!!!!! (Im on xbox 1)
