this 30% rare rate ive had since the update is nice and all, but i gain nothing from it...ive got prettymuch the best rares in every spot so they no longer give me an incentive to grind....

i can spend 4-5 days grinding for a chance at an epic which will probably not be a duplicate, giving me no use..or i can wait 5 days and get one for free if i win the finals which i usually do

My rare rate has been pretty bad. basically averaging 1 rare every hundred picks. Not sure exactly how that translates to rares/energy but it's definitely not 30%.

Wesley mathes at sg
Gilchrist at sf
Dont have pf using josh smith
Tyson chandler at center

Alll those r pro of course am i even close?

the randomness of season is so dumb at some times..

game 1-3 i win by 18-30 points each, game 4 i lose by 8 then game 5 i win by 18 again...got him beat in all categories, decked out 2k+ in each of them some over 2200

thankfully it didnt cost me an extra hour cuz other series went 6....but now i will be up until 4-5 AM to try and win the finals

How I get the best attributes from a combination?
is necessary that both cards I going to combine have the max level?

So for my season i bought manager as i wanted to see if it helps a lot or not.

After having a look at my players, i saw some of them with 93/71 energy, and their stats are even higher than maximum.

Example:

Grant Hill:
Max pro normal/max pro manager
OFF:182/ 252
DEF:162/ 224
BH: 236/ 327
MEN: 196/ 271

It's a huge difference but in the other hand it gave me the impression that not all my players get energy in rotation. Just the same 2 or 3 all the time.

Is anyone has an explanation?

yes, you need to max them up first before you combile

I added some to the list but since my game is not in english i didn't know the translation for the special abilities.

That seems weird and almost a bug to me. If manager really boosts players beyond the normal that seems like it really is cheating, since it is not something we can normally do in the game. My impression reading the manager ability was that it is supposed to auto refill 5 players. I guess it is possible that if you feed them energy before the game, and manager just gives +energy instead of "refill" to full that could explain how it pushes some people over the top. Interesting find though.

For the spreadsheet if you can list what the special ability does that should be good enough. Like "off & def" and list if it is opponent and whether it is for team.

For the manager, i didn't use any energy at all during season so i really don't know.

From what we know so far here is my opinion:

Point guard: Jason Kidd. Doc rivers has higher total stats but I feel Kidd wins more actual matchups you would send him out in. I think Kidd has the highest bc + mg combo, highest bc, and will win defense vs most other pg. Against doc he wins bc, mg, bc + mg, def + mg, and ties def + bc. Doc wins off, def, off + bc, Off + mg. Equal categories but which is more likely to get a point guard sent for? I wouldn't normally try to use a point for straight off or defense categories. Doc has a better special ability though I think since it affects the team.

Shooting guard: Ray Allen is the highest we know of. This one is hard to me, and is a judgement call depending what you want from an sg. Ray Allen basically has the stats of a pg. Dion waiters has fairly high offense and is slightly more of an all arounder.

Small forward: another hard category to judge. Right now Nicolas Batum is the highest, however what small forwards do varies a lot. Elgin Baylor is a super all arounder who is good as a last card since he can win a lot of categories by being sort of good at everything. Mkg has great off and def for a sf, but he has bad bc and mg so I feel like he might lose a lot of combined categories. I feel like despite his high total stats he's a semi trap in that he has a lot of losing matchups. Having high off and defense but low bc and mg isn't great in this game. There's no off + def category to help you.

Power forward: Thaddeus young is the highest we know of and I actually think he is the best. He has by far the highest offense we know of for a rare pro, he has good defense and mg, and basically all of have terrible bc. He will win offense and off + mg vs almost anyone.

Center: Highest total is jj hickson, but I like chandler more. He wins def and def + mg vs almost anyone, and those are categories you want your center to win. Hicksons higher off and bc are sorta nice but those aren't matchups you'd normally want to play your center so I feel the stats are almost wasted. He has a team special though so that may make him better.


These are opinion based on current info. Make your own judgments freely. Also remember special abilities are a big wild card that swings matchups randomly.

guys, may you tell me when the special abilities of every card are "activated" during a quick match?

I tried to understand but it seems they are activated randomly
