I wouldn't buy it even if it was 10 bucks. It's not about the money, it's about the principle. 10 bucks is 1/6 of a full priced game. I would not spend that on one card in this game.

I was the first seed, and lost to the second seed in the first game of the finals. I had him beat in every category except defense. I had him on offense 1842-1624, ball control was 1888-1841 and mental game was 2237-2179. He had me on defense 2050-1993. Both of us were fully energized. I'm not understanding how or why I lost. Only thing is, I had one player playing out of position (I think I read here on this board that it might affect the outcome). If I lose game 2 also, I'll switch to everybody in the correct position, and see if it affects anything.

Okay, this is really frustrating. After losing game 1, I won game 2, but then lost games 3 and 4. I've had the better team all 4 games, but I'm losing every single quarter. Here's the final scores. I'm not sure how I'm losing or what adjustments I could make to have a comeback.

Otherwise the best stats team would go 82-0 16-0 in the playoffs and what fun is that

Ifran, possibilities I can think of:
1) his support cards are maybe better than yours
2) his starting line up is maybe better than yours. I have no basis on if which role a player is in matters, but it feels like it should matter, else why penalize more for starting line up than reserve.
3) who was home court in each game? I assume he stole one from you at your home, and then 3 and 4 were at his home which seems like it does have some effect.
4) randomness. Perhaps in the imaginary games played his card effects went off more than yours and had bigger impact. Perhaps just random chance of the way the cards are played (assuming that matters). As someone mentioned the numbers are semi close.

On a personal note I lost to this guy in my last season :/

I understand that, but losing all 4 quarters on more than one occasion when you have the better stats in 3 out of the 4 categories? I mean, I understand there is randomness built into it, but this series wasn't random...it was more of a pattern.

On a side note, I won game 5 to bring the series to 3-2. I'm in the 4th quarter of game 6, and he's up by 15 after 3 quarters. So, 3 out of the 6 games has him beating me each quarter when I have beat him out in 3 out of the 4 categories. Drafting for epics/legendaries requires enough luck. Now seasons is based on luck too. Not sure how to feel about that...

I forget who is the home team in game 6? Is it him again? I posted some speculative theories of how he might have won. I will also say that last season during the regular season I beat him 1 game in the regular season while being down 300 or so in every stat somehow. So there's definitely some luck involved. Both of us were full energized. It made no sense but happened.

i love when im in the playoffs round 2 and on and i have 2x the stats of my matchup, dont have to worry about getting on to energize for an entire 5+ hours!

really hoping to win the finals and pull a duplicate monroe

After I lost the finals with better stats than the guy who beat me, I cashed in the 551 picks I had stockpiled. Got 34 energies and 4 rares. I'm at 10k games played and 18k draft picks. My team hasn't really improved in the past two weeks due to lack of any really good cards being drafted. I'm pretty set with what I have. And what I had didn't win me anything, even though I had the highest stats in the league. It seems like grinding isn't working, and season play just failed to get me anything to improve my deck. And I can't get better cards from season play until I improve my deck. So it's like a vicious cycle.

I think the game realllly, reallllllly wants me to start spending money to get marginally better, and that might be the point where I hang it up and quit this game. I have a PS4 that I've been neglecting for weeks because of how caught up in this game I've been. Maybe I'll be back on when the Rivals game mode is introduced?

It's a fun an addicting game but it's very one-dimensional right now. It takes FOREVVVVERRRR to do anything once you get into the ~several thousand game level, and then you realize the only way to really accomplish anything is to grind out a couple thousand more quick games.... once you hit that point the game isn't exactly fun anymore. Hopefully the new game mode helps alleviate the ridiculous amount of grinding in some way.

Irfan, can you post your team that you used in the season? Just curious about it's composition, including support cards and stuff. I'm also curious what the scores were in the games you won. I noticed you ran different line ups almost every game as the numbers were changing, and what your starting lineup was.
