Could you imagine playing this game and basically being told to keep grinding cards and you'll receive a reward after 2k picks? With nothing in between? That is scenario 2, and yes it would be boring because it's not like we play quick games for the fun of the card matchups or finger tapping

Yeah i can imagine and i would be happy because i know i have a goal and at the end i will be rewarded.i have used 40,900 career picks and have never gotten an epic with less than 500 pick interval. But i did go through a 5,000 pick and now a 7,000 (still climbing) drought of no epic.

(Goes to count all epics drafted)

40,900 picks 16 epics drafted

Yeah ill take 1 per 2000

C'mon guys, trolling sarcastically isn't going to help make changes faster. I complain a ton also but it's best to try to give the devs suggestions on how to improve, the game does have a lot of potential to be good especially for a mobile app.

2000 was just a random number, if they ever did implement a system like that then it'd be like every 5k picks for an Epic. Personally I think it'd be boring as hell

Random or not that number makes a lot of sense. 1,000 wins is no joke and takes quite some time to accomplish. I think its boring as hell right now. I went through 7,000 picks and those 7,000 picks mean nothing. both u and i have the same chance of getting an epic on the next board.

Id rather have fairness than this myth of random=fun

Anyone ever pull an epic or legendary while playing sitting on the can, and promptly dropping your phone inside the toilet by accident?

I think I had a poetic moment seeing the purple Avery Bradley card floating next to some turd

Its Papi, apparently he's developed a crush on me. Watch for the extra "o" on Moo.

I am thrilled with the app and its growth personally. Rivals is nothing but exciting, especially knowing that our input is being used in its' development. Pessism is totally unwarranted IMO... this game is way more fun to play than my last sports collecting app. And way cheaper to compete lol.

Actually you're right 2k does make sense for an epic. I dunno why I automatically assumed they'd make it even tougher than that lol. Either way, I hope they do offer guaranteed milestone rewards after hitting a certain amount of wins

I got a PM that it will be shut down in approx 7 weeks when the NBA regular season ends...and that they will try to give us the "full court press" with these rivals as a final attempt to extract money from us

i think october. its funny someone mentioned MMO's, isnt that what this game is basically modeled as? a progression type game with cards? if they do infact reset all progress, theyll lose a ton of players and no one will spend money on them in the future. Their best bet is to treat this game like an mmo and try to establish a growing community and just update new features and new cards every year

this game is nothing like the actual sports game, people pay for a fun experience and gameplay on consoles. But the fun in this game is all about collecting cards, so their business will go down the drain if they abandon their players and reset everyones progress
