Yeah man. My field is history, and I also work with dead languages from the Ancient Near East (and teach Koine Greek). I spend a great deal of time reading a ton and typing a lot, and my wpm is probably ridiculously high.

You guys poke a little fun at me for my "essays" but they are, for me, brief thoughts. A short essay for me these days is a 45-60 page journal article for publication.
