Everyone likes to believe in conspiracies. Drop rate changes are MyTeam's own little conspiracy.
No matter what NWGameDad says, people are always gonna believe that they've suddenly changed the drop rate. It's the way it's going to be forever.
I've owned that I can draft 20+ energies in row before I land a card. After +25k picks I've yet to draft Doc Rivers, and I believe it's dumb luck. Same dumb luck that's made me draft Jeff Green's rare +15 times.

I can't speak about epic packs because I haven't bought any, but I understand Twista, mfresh, Trey, or any big spender that is on a Legendary Card dry spell. Maybe the ratio on Epic Packs should be higher, but you know you don't have a guaranteed legendary when you drop the money. But, again, it's fair to complain because you're handing out $20 for chance.

I agree with you but if we knew the rate was say .000023 or something, then there wouldn't be any complaining for not getting cards. You would only be able to say to yourself, "we'll the drop rate is such and such, o well." Then continue to buy packs.

That's too many high dollar spenders saying the same thing for me to think its random. A lot of the high dollar spenders (including myself) have also said that the gap between drafting epic\legendary post purchasing epic packs are a lot bigger or doesn't happen at all. I think I've only drafted 5 epics (including support cards) and ZERO Legendary cards in 25K+ draft picks. Everything else is pretty much epic packs or me winning seasons because I've purchased so many epic packs. I personally will not be purchasing anymore credits until I start hearing a different tune from creditable users from this forum.

That's been stated multiple times also I can attest to the dry spell theory.
That's my win:lose record. I have yet to draft a legend but it didn't matter since I could reliably get one by purchasing an epic pack.

Agree, but the casino analogy also applies here. You don't know the prize ratio on slot machines either. If they tell the ratio, the number of Epic Packs bought would plummet, you know that. People want to spend money on hope, not on odds.
I think it's more than fair that Cat Daddy doesn't answer to the "what's the ratio" question. It's like a football coach posting on the internet their offensive plays. NW should once and for all say "I'm not gonna tell", though.

That is another good point that I have not considered. In this game we are playing you must spend $20 for a chance at a epic or legendary card. On the console version you can but 80,000 vc for $20. For the $20 in this app we only get 6500 in game credit which is equivalent to vc. I realize CD is running this app and is a business that makes money but the cost is extremely high.

*This being said from a guy who burned 8k on packs, lol*

I drafted my CP3 legend a little after 2900 games.

I refuse to spend $20 on an epic pack I did buy one team pack and got a Caron Butler Epic. I just feel I'll earn my legends and epics the hard way which is what makes the game interesting to me.

No offense to Twista but I have no idea how this game can be any fun when he's spent $5000 on this game and he has all legends LOL! I actually do appreciate that he and so many others have spent a lot of money because if gives the devs money to improve the game

I got 3 Legendaries in Draft and none in Draftpacks and i bought a couple.
actually the Epic packs are so ****ty, that there is no reason to get them at all.

I am on the road right now, so sorry for lack of response ( and typos from my iPad), but let me address this and the complaints do season matchmaking..

1. The drop rate for purchased packs and draft boards, has not changed. Any time someone hits a strong of bad luck the immediate blame is placed on a change in drop rates. It simply is not true. Look up my explanation of random the FAQ thread or Anchen's many great posts on randomness. The new cards had zero effect non drop rates. The epic pack for example, has a fixed drop rate of epic vs. legendary. Once the rarity of the card is determined then the player is determined. The first "roll" has zero to do with how many cards are in the system. Twista's luck with his recent purchases is just that, luck.

2. Season matchmaking times are coming out too long right now. As I asked in my other thread, if you are experiencing matching times beyond 3 hours please send us Feedback. We are investigating why this is occurring and need to look at your decks to help us debug.

3. Season bots do exist, and have always existed. However, there are also *millions* of players of this game! and the new system does match you with players you probably have not encountered before. Do not make the assumption everyone plays as you do with so many players out there. With that said, people on this forum are more hard core players and end up with higher decks, which does end up pitting you with bots to help fill a season. The high number of bots being reported is questionable though because we have limits on now many we place in a season. We either have a bug or you are playing real people that you haven't seen before. I need to look at the data when I get back to the office. If it is broken we will flip the old system back on while we fix it.

NWGD, I believe everything you say as you have proven to be a trustworthy individual. That being said, I also am 99% sure that the system that makes epic purchased packs random is "broke." Have someone test it out and look into it please. Everyone of your high spenders are saying the same thing and I assure you we did not get together and decide to speak false accusations. It needs to be looked into bottom line. We are all asking for the drop ratio but have yet to get an answer, so please advise. I do not mind the bots but something must be done about the season rewards. This will be the last season I participate in until the rewards are upgraded since the epics are not doing me any good. Be safe in your journeys.
