Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I would bet that they will, and pretty soon too. Luck seems to be the real deal. The Colts got mad lucky with the timing of Manning's injury. Manning is a lock for the Hall, and Luck has the potential to get there, given his play so far.
It's a good time to be a Colts fan.Playoff+ quick game

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Next time a GS fan complains about LeBron whining, actually watch Draymond Green...dude acts like he got robbed after every call. And I think LeBron does whine too much. He is just too big to get calls, same problem Shaq dealt with.
Green has gad a slap across the arm, shove in the back, and hand full of jersey all this series were called and he loses his mind. If it is close, ok...I understand. But he acts like he doesn't know how to foul!Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Please don't tell me you are one of those people who actually believes the Patriots are super cheaters and have been consistently good for so long now because they cheat.
"Spygate" has been thoroughly debunked. Don't pay attention to the opinions in this article ... just read the actual facts and skip over the opinion.
"Lately, in our society, it seems that we have sympathy only for the losers and misfits. Let us also cheer for the doers and the winners. The zeal to be first in everything has always been American, to win and to win and to win...
"Deflategate" is like the most ridiculous thing ever. There's nothing but speculation, the "scientific" conclusions of the report were debunked by Nate Silver's site, and even if we all just accept the premise that there was tampering with balls, that's an equipment violation, which is a $25,000 fine.
But if the NFL is going to enforce equipment rules, what's up with the Vikings and Panthers basically being ignored for doctoring balls?
Further, we have Aaron Rodgers on the record that he likes his footballs inflated over the limit.
Like ... nobody was hating on the Patriots when they were a sorry team who put in the worst Super Bowl performance ever ('86 against the Bears) and choked away a winnable game a decade later.
Success breeds envy breeds haters. You can be rational and look at the "evidence" and see if it adds up, or you can just accept the storyline that makes you feel better. In the end, it doesn't really matter to anyone but you.
I grew up in Maine and most of my family has lived in Quincy (South Boston) since escaping Italy in the 30s. Of course the Boston teams are going to be the ones I support. It's in the blood, and until the last 15 years it meant mostly losing with Larry Bird's Celtics being the bright spot ... and then Len Bias overdosed and even that became marred.
I do like some teams outside of Boston though. For example, I am a huge Tampa Bay Lightning fan (Lived in the Bay area for about 10 years in the late 90s into the mid aughts, and had season tickets in the upper deck watching the lightning attack 1st and 3rd periods ... $110 for season tickets was awesome).
But I think your implication was that I am a fan of Boston teams and therefore worthy of only contempt?Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I'm a Colts fan (obviously lol) and can't stand the Patriots, and that whole deflategate thing was dumb as ****. They kicked the Colts' *** and it wasn't because of slightly underinflated footballs. Trust me, I've seen them give the Colts a beat down enough over the years to know haha.
The only thing that really bothers me about people hating on the Patriots is the people who obviously never even considered looking at the evidence and rule book, when Spygate happened, and to this day are always talking mad trash.
That's why I linked that article earlier. The guy is pretty biased (he thinks Spygate was a conspiracy by the league to promote parity, which is pretty crazy I think), but when he cites the actual facts, it rapidly becomes clear that the Patriots didn't actually break any rules.
But gamesmanship is nothing new in the NFL. If a team is gonna be good for so long, other teams are gonna do everything they can to try and bring the back down to the pack.
And, given how miserable it was to be a Pats fan for most of my life, I totally agree that it is desirable for all fans to be able to realistically hope their team can go from worst to first and win the championship.
Like, I don't buy the whole "Cavs fans deserve it" argument ... but if the Cavs pull off the finals win, I'll feel really good for them, because they've been waiting a long long time for a pro championship.QG Tier: Legendary++

Refs with bad calls happen almost every game, not sure why some of members here are all fed up all of a sudden. The fact is bad calls start from the very beginning of the season, and us viewers either have to accept that it is part of the game, or get angry and suffer from a heart attack, or just quit your school/job and become a ref in the NBA (which pays you to travel and all that good stuff).
Realistically, Warriors aren't playing well since Game 1. In fact, they could easily lost in Game 1 should Cavs made a better play at the last possession before the end of the regulation. Given the fact that Cavs' incomplete lineup, Warriors are expected to dominate this series, and yet they didn't do it since Game 1. It says a lot about their performance, and the ideas of "teams heavily rely on shooting can't win no champs". Spurs play inside-out, and that is something Heat couldn't do last year. Warriors are not known for scoring under the basket like Spurs in 2014. Not that the big men cannot score under the basketball, but rather they tend to pass the ball fast and quick enough to the open man for a 3, and occasionally, big man can take long range 3s (Draymond) or mid-range jumpers (Speights). It becomes predictable to the other team when more than 50% of your plays are designed for your guards to shoot outside of the arc. Warriors still do a good screen to make Curry open in the last minutes, but it was kinda too late into the game, PLUS Cavs will figure out a way to break those 3 screeners just to stop Curry from shooting that 3.
Good series so far consider all the factors. I expect nothing less with a 6-game series.IGN: XyphnR (myNBA 2K15)

Agreed. So far in this series, Lee has shown he deserves more minutes over Green. All I have seen him do so far is brick 3's, bitch to the refs, and commit fouls.Comment
