"Spygate" has been thoroughly debunked. Don't pay attention to the opinions in this article ... just read the actual facts and skip over the opinion.
"Lately, in our society, it seems that we have sympathy only for the losers and misfits. Let us also cheer for the doers and the winners. The zeal to be first in everything has always been American, to win and to win and to win...
"Deflategate" is like the most ridiculous thing ever. There's nothing but speculation, the "scientific" conclusions of the report were debunked by Nate Silver's site, and even if we all just accept the premise that there was tampering with balls, that's an equipment violation, which is a $25,000 fine.
But if the NFL is going to enforce equipment rules, what's up with the Vikings and Panthers basically being ignored for doctoring balls?
Further, we have Aaron Rodgers on the record that he likes his footballs inflated over the limit.
Like ... nobody was hating on the Patriots when they were a sorry team who put in the worst Super Bowl performance ever ('86 against the Bears) and choked away a winnable game a decade later.
Success breeds envy breeds haters. You can be rational and look at the "evidence" and see if it adds up, or you can just accept the storyline that makes you feel better. In the end, it doesn't really matter to anyone but you.
I grew up in Maine and most of my family has lived in Quincy (South Boston) since escaping Italy in the 30s. Of course the Boston teams are going to be the ones I support. It's in the blood, and until the last 15 years it meant mostly losing with Larry Bird's Celtics being the bright spot ... and then Len Bias overdosed and even that became marred.
I do like some teams outside of Boston though. For example, I am a huge Tampa Bay Lightning fan (Lived in the Bay area for about 10 years in the late 90s into the mid aughts, and had season tickets in the upper deck watching the lightning attack 1st and 3rd periods ... $110 for season tickets was awesome).
But I think your implication was that I am a fan of Boston teams and therefore worthy of only contempt?QG Tier: Legendary++

Please don't tell me you are one of those people who actually believes the Patriots are super cheaters and have been consistently good for so long now because they cheat.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
In all seriousness though, the Cavs has simply been the better team than the Warriors at this point. Better poise, better execution, better all around play...no if's and's or but's about it. For the most part, Warriors have played scared and have forced bad shots and missed wide open ones. Call it nerves, first time jitters, or whatever, but the Cavs have just simply played that much better so far.
I'm not going to blame the refs for the calls or non calls. It happens during games, you just need to play through them whether they're called or not. Tonight's game was the first game I've been able to watch all series so I can't comment on games 1 and 2, but it seemed pretty even to me. There were a few botched calls but nothing that deterred from the final outcome of the game.
Can the Warriors still come back? Yes, but they're going to have to show much more patience on the offensive side of the ball. Better ball movement, better decision making, and less unforced mistakes. Defensively, they HAVE to box out the Cavs bigs.
I just hope Curry has regained his confidence after his mini 4th quarter binge. And oh yeah, STOP TURNING THE DAMN BALL OVER IN CRUNCH TIME!!!
Whatever problem you have with me, feel free to take it to PM and work it out, or else just stop with the snide comments. It isn't productive for anyone.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Not all I care about, but a tackle like that is kind of a big deal in a close game in the finals. Something like that can easily help decide a game or injure the star of a team. Either way, the refs have sucked this series, both ways.
And yeah, those are some impressive stats. Not gonna deny that.
Still no explanation for little Delly's actions though, huh?

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I would bet that they will, and pretty soon too. Luck seems to be the real deal. The Colts got mad lucky with the timing of Manning's injury. Manning is a lock for the Hall, and Luck has the potential to get there, given his play so far.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Next time a GS fan complains about LeBron whining, actually watch Draymond Green...dude acts like he got robbed after every call. And I think LeBron does whine too much. He is just too big to get calls, same problem Shaq dealt with.
Green has had a slap across the arm, shove in the back, and hand full of jersey all this series that were called and he loses his mind. If it is close, ok...I understand. But he acts like he doesn't know how to foul!Comment
