id say go with galo.

anything with high ball-handling is always a 1st IMO since it only comes in 3 positions instead of the 5 usually

yeah kazy ive got 3 trades left , so if i get 2 more pro rares im set...

also got 3 beals lol >> hes actually really good all-around

nah it is just 1 on the board and it resets when u pick it

That's very true! Thanks for the input. I'll post the my final line up after I'm done training them. Currently in progress is pro max boozer, Hickson, Tyson Chandler and Chandler Parsons (he was my first SF) pro max

--its been a decent morning....got a ron harper and jason kidd in back to back boards then pulled a danny ainge 2 boards later.

unfortunately im in the same side as the #1 seed for playoffs so im going to lose in the semis unless i get like lebron and MJ today lol.

Heh..just realized I've been posting about this in the wrong thread. Anyway, sorry for the monster response, but I'm catching up on a couple days of messages and figured I'd just get all my replies in at once.

I completely agree. It's especially true if you outsmart yourself. I tried submitting an all-commons team thinking I'd get an easy bracket and then sub in my ringers. Not so much. lol. So I have two more days of watching my team get rolled every game.

Yes there is a big difference if you first max out dupes then combine.

Btw, has anyone pulled an epic card from a draft pick? Best I ever get are rares, so jealous of those who pull epics and legendaries. Can't complain really, I've gotten some nice dupes that gave me some really awesome rare pros.

As others have mentioned, you definitely can. I've pulled one legend and one epic. That's with 3309 picks. That said, I have over 40 rares (not counting support cards) and I've only managed to duplicate two - one of which I'm pretty sure was from the Thunder team pack I got after a tournament. So that's kind of frustrating.

So for the random card pick is it energy or rare/epic/legend card? I ask because I got down to the final card 3 times and 2 have been energy and 1 was rare, while the other 3 rares I pulled were like my 7-10 choice?

I think this has been pretty well discussed since I'm a couple days late catching up. But, I can definitely confirm having gotten down to a single card multiple times. Usually it's an energy, a couple times it has been a rare. So I'm pretty sure there's a single "reset" card in every set. It's most likely an energy, but has chance of being a rare+. So don't feel bad when you draw an energy card early, that's actually good thing (even though it doesn't feel like it to me.)

Need to time it better when I start my season mode, always get eliminated in either 1st or 2nd round cause my playoffs always start at 1-2am LOL

I've been doing the same thing. I need to start kicking off the season at night instead of in the morning. Twice now, I've gone to bed around 11:30 and had to set my alarm to go off every couple hours. bleh. Even though that's helped me out a couple times, I hate that after four and a half days of waiting on a season, someone's playoffs can easily be ruined by bad timing.

does anyone think that the skill level of the person you are playing against has any bearing on the level of cards you receive in the draft? I haven't really noticed but sometimes it seems like I get a lot more rares then at other times.

I'm fairly confident there's no relationship. I think I was using an all-common team and going against and entry-level opponent when I pulled legendary CP3.

has anyone here pulled multiple epic/legendary from draft?

wondering if its a 1 time deal.

sooo ive decided since im making millions of energy cards i can just use my best players strength wise, instead of worrying about positions....so C's could become very usefull if they have high O/D/M like thomas robinson and lopez

I know you can pull a legend and an epic. And I think I saw someone mention pulling multiple epics. But, I can't confirm that. Between my friend and me, we're over 6000 draft picks and both of us have only pulled one epic.

I've considered that strategy as well. But after having accidentally had mixed positions in my first tournament, I won't do that again. I'm way too OCD about having everybody's energy even and a consistent rotation schedule. Performance-wise, it's probably worthwhile to just field your best possible lineup. But it annoyed the crap out of me having all my energies out of whack. lol

As others have said, I don't think so. But, since either one will reset the board, there's no way to conclusively prove that. However, I've been able to get to a single remaining card multiple times which leads me to believe that only one "reset" card exists and it has the posibility of being an energy OR a rare+. Still not conclusive, but unless 2k confirms it, I don't think there's any way for us to know.

ive almost come to conclussion that if you have the energy cards your best bet is to run an entire team of PG/SG in season mode...they are by far the most valuable cards in terms of strength because SF/PF/C seriously lack ball-handling which is apparently a huge factor in season games
