re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I don't know how many times I have to say this, none of that is true. The draft is RANDOM. We haven't touched the drop rate of Energy cards and the others since the update in Dec. The exception being the 2 hour stress test earlier in the week.

1. If there was even the slightest bit of consistency for pull rates, maybe not among the community as a whole but for the individual player, I should not be at over 7200 picks between Epics, when my average pull rate of Epics before this drought was about 1800-2000 picks.
And
2. Micro-transactions/In-App Purchases are now a staple of all mobile games (and slowly making their way into console games as well). If I was making games for the purpose of profit, I would follow the same scheme as all of the games these days... Player starts out strong; winning easily, and in our case pulling good cards, making the player feel empowered with the game in their favor. Then progressively, it gets harder and harder, where power then shifts to the favor of the game. We have all seen it... you get to a point where it seems impossible to move forward unless, of course, you BUY that perk that helps you move on. Push the player to a point of frustration, where they spend real money on impulse just for a chance to progress. This is nothing new and I wouldn't assume that this game is any different.
I am not the least bit angry about all this, it is still a fun, enjoyable game (at the moment anyways). I work in the business environment and fully understand that business is business; so if following the money making structure of all the other games out there makes me money, I am going to do it too! I just don't understand the sugar-coating...In Game Name: MrChat138

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I don't think some of you know what random means.
Random means there is no consistency. Over the course of a TON of games, results should normalize, but we are all looking at numbers over the course of a few hundred, or a few thousand games, and thinking that's enough. It obviously isn't. If you haven't pulled an Epic in 8K games, but another person has pulled 4 in the last 1,000... well there's your normalization. It doesn't apply to you personally. You have to take it on the agregate.
That being the case, it's clear how it can FEEL like it's rigged against you, but being on this forum allows us access to information about other people's experiences, which provides actual information on how the game operates on the whole, in terms of drop rates.
Maybe they should look into personalizing it.. setting milestone goals or something, to alleviate the exacerbation people are feeling, but as it is, no objective view of what we know, suggests it's rigged. What would they gain from purposefully setting some players' draw rates lower, and others' higher?Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
You are really doing us a great service by being so active on this forum and I, for one, really appreciate that you take the time to give out help/tips and answer questions! However, I apologize but, in my own opinion, I find this VERY hard to believe; and for 2 reasons:

As for winning your first season, that is easy not because they are capping your progression in anyway but because most people who pick up the app have no idea what they are doing and aren't that interested. They play a few quick games, register for a season and then mostly forget about it. Easy win if someone really wants it and has some knowledge of the game. It gets harder because the matchmaking doesn't pair you vs newbies anymore though and because the timer is too short you are likely to run up against some pretty decent decks (all pro rares or better types) in your second season on.
Just because you pulled epics every 1800-2000 picks before doesn't mean that is the "rate". For all we know the rate is closer to 3000 or 4000 picks for real rate and your earlier epics were "lucky" and your latest one is a bit unlucky. I'm fairly inclined to believe that the game is truly random, but random doesn't feel fair in small samples (and just about all of us, despite how we feel, are still in small sample size territory).Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I hear you... And I don't think it's rigged towards players themselves (CatDaddy is not out to get me LOL), I think it's rigged towards progression; the more you play, the harder it gets. Trust me, I do take it as the aggregate, but if you notice, that "normalization" occurs a majority of the time with players having a lower amount of games played. Why do the majority of players win their first season, only to get crushed in their subsequent seasons? Do I think there is some type of conspiracy? Absolutely not. Do I think they follow the model of all other games, as far as a progressive decline in the players success, in an effort to capitalize on those Micro-Transactions/In-App Purchases? Yes. That is all I meant by my rant.Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Ok I can guarantee that your card deck does not matter with matchmaking...
I queue up for a season sitting at 25 cards no legendarys no epic pros. my stats are pushing 1900-2200.
and I'm in a season with Twista who is sitting at 5000+ stats.
100% clear that match making does not match your deck size. 2 seasons in a row i had to play against people who sit at 5000+Comment
