I mean what point total the top 500 is at RIGHT NOW. Not in the end, obviously. Just want to know how far behind I really am and I can't view that tier in the leaderboard.

But this is your chance. An epic pro is very achievable. I'm really excited to (hopefully) get my first legend. The ironic part is that if I do get it, I'm likely going to be thrown into seasons I have no reason to be in, but oh well. Make the playoffs then tank city for my epic pro Bosh.

That's what I mean. This is a chance, but it looks like I will still have to grind 3-4 hours a day just to guarantee an epic pro. And it just all makes me upset. If I'm going to spend 3-4 hours a day playing a game, it's not going to be grinding out quick games. It's going to be playing something that is actually fun. The only fun thing about this game a good playoff series in season, and getting new cards. I haven't gotten a useful new card in a month. And I don't really have the desire to spend 4 hours a day for 5 days to get a single upgrade for a card. Maybe along the way I would get some cards from draft picks, sure, but I'm just not having any fun. When the primary way of playing a game isn't really fun to me, I really question why I am playing it.

Hey, NWGameDad, this is not really related but how is it that Dennis Rodman is now the best legendary in the game? Are his stats incorrect or did you guys give him those stats on purpose?

His stats are incorrect. Expect a nerf to Rodman.

Absolutely could not agree more! Wilt needs offense raised drastically, averaged 50 points per game in a season and still holds the most points in an NBA game at 100. Same for MJ, Lebron, Durant and Kobe. Those 5 should have the highest offense in game.

With all of these PF/C changes being made, it's really affected the Kobe Rival Clash Card. Are you guys considering possibly boosting his stats? Because he's looking less and less like a card rated between a Legend and a Legend Pro.

Got up to 2nd and didn't buy any either. I think most of us saw this coming though as soon as it was announced that hot streaks were going to be limited to holding 3 at a time. NWGD's argument was that it kept the ranking "honest", but imo it took an element away from the Rivals event. It was probably the only advantage non-payers had and well, "non-payers" is exactly their qualm. Maybe I'm seeing this from a very narrow point of view, but right now, it's looking like an Ebay auction where you bid with hot streaks until the day the listing ends lol. I'm not delusional enough to complain and question why a company would keep implementing new channels for profit. I'm really just surprised they don't see a limit to how far they can tailor the game towards heavy spenders. I know it's been that way from the start, but where do they draw the line between paying for success and success through time/effort? Maybe we can look forward to only being capable of holding up to 3 Energy Cards in order to keep the season/playoffs "honest" next week?

Anyhow, as I mentioned, I may be looking at this all wrong. So everybody please feel free to offer me any insight. I don't consider myself to be a true gamer by any stretch and this is the only mobile app game I play regularly. Actually, it's the first app game I've ever played too lol. I'm sure many of you have a much more refined perception about this than I do.

Ok, I'm done typing so much lol glad about the bump in the rivals rewards though. Hope this didn't come off as a "I hate this game" rant.


EDIT: Forgot to mention. This is absolutely NO DISS to anyone that has paid or is still buying anything in this game. Sh!t, I've spent money on it too. I simply wish there was a better balance between paying and playing.

EyeGotSoul - Total respect for your position. It's a tough dilemma for us building games as to how to navigate the free-to-play game world and still make it a viable business. I will say though, you're the perfect example of how free players are 100% viable in this event. As you stated yourself, you have spent $0 on Hot Streaks and you're #2 in the event. Clearly, free players are competitive.

I remember that it was said rival cards are better than legendary cards, not legendary pro, but since this event awards rival clash pro to #1, does that mean they are better than legendary pro?
