Does anyone here use 3 uncommons + 2 commons or 5 commons with rare/epic/leg hot streak in Rivals Clash? If so, which specific cards do you use?

Quincy Acy PRO(not properly combined so he wouldn't be too good):offense and defense categories
Charles Jenkins PRO(not properly combined): every category
Charles Jenkins PRO(again): everything
Steve Blake(slightly leveled up): ball control and mental game
Marquis Teague Mid-Year: bc and defense, bc and offense

Totally agree, NWGD comes accross as very condescending. No matter how many people complain about the same thing, he seems to just spew out some PR BS defending the game, without actually acknowledging the feed back. I would like to know if he is a basketball fan. An example is defending Dirk Stats. I was a HUGE Larry Johnson fan when he played
for Hornets/Knicks, but he is not in Dirks League. Dirk is a Champ, MVP, Finals MVP, All NBA player. He is not a top 5 all time PF but certainly better than LJ and Blake Griffin, so why is Dirks Epic Pro lower than those 2?. For this game to make sense, there needs to be a meaning to the numbers. Tim Duncan is the best PF to ever play, therefore he should be the best PF in the game, in whatever tier he is in.

This forum was so much better when there were way less people.

I've never been one of the dudes that thought NWGD's posts were sent from on high, like some people do, but I believe wholeheartedly that he means well, he tells us the most accurate information he has at any given time, unless he's not able to, or doesn't want to for some reason, in which case, he normally let's that be known.

I think with more people in the peanut gallery now, the echo chamber here is just ridiculous. A lot of the ideas here really are just silly, and don't warrant a real response. Some of you have CRAZY expectations, and seem to lack an understanding of some of the realities of the NBA, running a business, the concept of fixed randomness, or a lot of the other topics that come up.

Some ideas are important, but a lot of times things escalate here to the point of animosity before he even has a chance to respond.

I think people need to relax overall.

NWGD is not our slave or our overlord. He's a guy that represents the developers of a game we all enjoy. He has zero obligation whatsoever to post here, and give our ideas any attention at all. He also has little to no reason to lie to us, as far as I can tell.

People have every right to ask questions and address concerns, but there needs to be a modicum of civility at all times.

Its kinda hard to do the best rivalries since most of them include either the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks and Bulls.

For the Cavs its the BULLS
For the Pistons its the Bulls (88-91)
For the Sixers its the Celtics (1965, 1983)
For the Kings its the Lakers (2002)

Other notable rivalries in the NBA:
Heat vs Knicks (97-2000)
Bulls vs Knicks (1990s)
Spurs vs Lakers (1999-2003)
Spurs vs Suns (1990s, 2000s)

Yeah, that was always the fundamental flaw behind a Rivals mode, to begin with. Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, Bulls, and now the Heat are everyone's main rivals. The second event, CD was already stretching the idea of rivalries, by giving us Spurs/Rockets, a rivalry that peaked in 1995.

That being said, theoretically, Celtics and Heat are still in play. We could see Celtics vs. Pistons. That's legit, and would be interesting.

I have no idea on the exact number of people who have that card but I play against one other. I know Adil has him.

plus I cant win a season with all rare cards cayse everyone seems to have just better cards than me :/

And when I am winning games I make the playoffs and I get beat by people in a series whos stats arent as good as mine

I don't care what anyone thinks but right now Blake griffins level of play is at a very high level in terms of an all around basis
dirk has only been a great shooter his whole career and that's about it his consistency is what defines his career and his ring and MVP but besides the scoring dirk is just average at everything else he does his rebounding and defense is pretty bad his post game isn't that great besides the fade away shot
Blake has surpassed him rebounding already and his defense is getting better each season and not to mention he has been drastically improving his shooting and post moves so therefore blake is better then dirk right now say what you want but I know I'm right

I totally get what you're saying, but Blake has only been this good for half a season. Dirk has been Dirk for the better part of a decade.

That's why I mentioned dirks consistency if Blake continues at this level then he will be one of the best pf of all time but of course he still needs more time to make his case

Yes. This is not favorable to CD but it will give the users more chances to get an RC card. It will be just a special RC... once a year perhaps.
