I respect "ring chasers" more than I do people that take a grossly larger amount of money and screw their teams. If he does go to Cleveland it will be a bit more of a difficulty though. He's Jesus Shuttlesworth though!
How can you respect a guy that jump ships to win rings. I rather have a guy to stay with a team forever and not win a ring than have a guy winning 7 rings by jumping ship every time. Plus its not the players fault that they were offered alot of money by a team.

Celtics were trying to dump him as quickly as they could so why not go to the Heat? Thats why Im saying if he does go to Cleveland it will drop my respect some. I think constant jumping is bad, but he owed Boston nothing

He should've went to Chicago and started... instead he went to Heat to become a bench player

Wasn't he offered more years a ntc and more money in Boston?. But i understand his decision, being in trade rumors alot and even told he was actually traded once. Same way if Rondo leaves i will be upset but understand why he did it.

he MAY have been offered more money, I cant quite remember, but they definitely treated him poorly the previous year leading up to that

Yeah, i remember he was basicly traded to Memphis for O.J Mayo, he got the call and everything but it fell through in the end. DA tried to sweep it under the rug and give him a NTC but Allen never trusted him after that

alright I need a celtics perspective on this, but I was reading up on who ppl had as top celtics players of all time, and a major consensus had Rondo way above Allen..why?
