I probably can tell you sometime tomorrow. I face him in game 7 so if i see 2 RC Bird, it has to be him.

The new tier on WWE was added only because most of the people if not all felt like the game had come to an end. Most of the players have an all Legendary Pro Deck and a lot of them have a bench filled with Legendary Pros as well.
That's mainly because King of the Ring (WWE version for Season) Rewards were very very generous. 1st and 2nd place both got Pairs of Legendary Superstar. (Which is now fixed in the latest update, No more pairs).
I have 20+ Legendary Pros and that's after i have feeded atleast 10-15 of the weaker legendary pros to train my best cards and i am still no where close to being among the top 25 players in Supercards.
While NBA is a much more sensibly built game and it's gonna be a while before you see people with 15 Legendary Pros in Season mode, so i won't be surprised if a new tier is not added for months in this game.

Yup! Seconded this. I switched to MyNBA2k15 cause I already had way too many Legendary Pros in Supercard. I was spoiled a bit by their KOTR rewards. Considering how rewards work for seasons, it will be quite a while before I finally progress to a higher tier. This one definitely seems like it will last longer. They did change the rewards, but they're also a bit late. I'm trying to play both atm, but god it's going to become harder during RC. I'm gonna have to just stop playing Supercard during that week.

Got swept in the semis by yopple (not sure how I didn't win the last game when I boosted). Anyway here were my rewards. Perkins is useless to me and Avery is too unless I'm able to draft a dupe.

Well there is probably 1 real one. The one who finished 3rd played a lot but also took breaks at roughly the same time (likely sleep) so the pattern was more or less as human as me and finisher.

But he's in so many seasons, you got to wonder...

Got swept in the semis by yopple (not sure how I didn't win the last game when I boosted). Anyway here were my rewards. Perkins is useless to me and Avery is too unless I'm able to draft a dupe.

Sometime the game is strange like that. I took a screenshot earlier of one of my games where the first 2 Quarters, i played 4x UR Pro and the opposing team played 2 UR Pro, 2 SR Pro... the score at half was me losing 51 - 49! Of course it didn't matter since the last 2 Q, he played 4 SR Pro and i played a mix of epic/UR Pros (i had 9 UR Pro/epic and 1 SR Pro in my line-up for that game i think).
