From NWG on Smartmove's RTTC strat.

A Twitter user asked me today if we fixed the double points strat with the update. I told him yes we did. I wanted to elaborate, because I've seen some unfortunate hate directed to that user for simply asking a question.


For RttC, we designed the mode to need 25 cards. The 10 card strat focused on only winning the double point events to win the entire game defeats the purpose of having 25 cards. We didn't discover the problem until after RttC launched, so it was absolutely a valid strategy for you guys to use since it was our design mistake. However, we fixed it since the mode is intended to encourage the use of 25 strong cards, not just 10 cards, and the double point strat works around that intention.


Yes, it made the mode easier for some. Once the update comes out RttC will be harder for those that don't have 25 great cards and were getting by with only 10. That was the way it was always intended. As always, if we find the difficulty to be a problem then we'll look at adjusting it.


I just want to make it clear, that particular user asking the question had zero to do with us fixing the bug. We would have fixed it regardless.

Like I said earlier. Apple takes 10 days. We're at 5 I believe so half way there.

Guess I missed your post, but I believe the last update took a couple of weeks. I think it depends on the number of apps already waiting for approval.
