Great singles are on par with MVP Pros so that's the route I'm going with. Even if I don't pull dupes, they still replace regular Star Pros in my LU. Selling every PO card I get lol.

This is what I'm doing as well. However, I started wondering that if more and more people get PO dupes, then a lineup of single greats isn't exactly going to make the finals...

My pleasure man. I was in the same situation as you when I first started playing. I didn't think I could play the same account across platforms, but I messed with it until I got it to work, because it made zero sense.

Are greats packs worth opening if you can only buy 4? (56k)

It's all you. Credits come and go, you may get lucky and get a dupe you may get unlucky and not get a dupe. It depends on how confident you are and how committed you are on opening more packs in the future.

Yolol'ed and got 4 singles lol. Dave Cowens, Dave Debusschere, Bob Cousy and Elgin Baylor.. At least all play in different positions I suppose

Yeah ... what Vermouth said. The singles basically amount to more balanced versions of the MVP cards, so having 5 of them will be a pretty decent starting place. Two MVP packs cost 13k, so it's 1k more for the equivalent of getting a dupe, plus you could get a Greats dupe later and end up with a ridiculously good card.

Once you start investing in Greats, you basically need to sell all your stars and Playoff cards so you can keep getting more greats for dupes. It's kind of a difficult choice between short and long term. If you get really lucky and get dupes early, you'll be way ahead. If you get like 15 singles ... not so much.

True. My plan is if I know I can't make the finals, I'm exiting the first round and selling the MVP card. Other than that, I figure I can at least get 1 good card a week through RC and RTTC and sell whatever I pull/win in between.

Yeah you're definitely right on the money on that one. The star market crashed when MVP's became auctionable pretty much, so I'm slowly selling epics, URS, and any PO card I get.

Need to get a few pros in the early packs to remain competitive in seasons as more get PO pros.

But the market even for MVP cards is so bad its not really a reliable way to make credits.

I opened 14 packs and got 3 dupes and all the singles replaced my star pros, worth it for me

How many $$ spent? Or no $$ at all?

Edit: 14 packs and 3 dupes so 3 great dupes for 196k credits. Still too much for me. I'd rather go for Top 100/25 each RC and draft PO cards I can sell since RC Pros will be on par with Great Pros.

Haven't had a problem selling them yet but I can see where you're coming from. If I get an unpopular one, I'll do buybacks since I know they're useful to many people or just keep it. Still got a lot of Star Pros that can get replaced for RTTC.

no $$, just sold everything including p/o cards. Even the worst great card played out of position still beat any p/o pros

This is my plan as well, basically. However, I expect the MVP market to diminish, so hopefully between then and now I can pick up a couple of dupes and hit my resets early.

But I'm 400+ so this plan seems to be failing... lol!
