Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
1. The AH has a supply problem. There are too many cards in the system given away for free. Since cards are given away for free the value players feel for them is not high (unlike if you were to sell an item you had in the real world that you did not acquire for free). We could cut the number of free cards given out but that would not make the game very fun at all. Ultimately the supply problem is what we are looking at fixing without screwing up the enjoyment of the game.
2. I don't believe I have said the AH was "healthy", again see #1 on why not. What I have said is that cards are being bought and sold at healthy numbers, which is true. Players complaining that cards are not selling doesn't pan out with the numbers we see in terms of daily transactions. Are some of these buy backs? Most certainly, and yet cards are still being exchanged on the AH showing players are still using it.
3. Suggestions on removing minimums are just not realistic. As I have said before, since supply is so high and value given to free cards is so low if minimums were lowered it would mean the whole card economy would crash in just a few days. Everyone would simply exchange cards and you would all have the best deck possible, and be complaining there was nothing to do in game. The game has to have meaningful progression, that is part of the fun.
4. The AH is successful even given the flaws. It has answered the player request to have a means to exchange cards. It has helped you improve your deck in all likelihood (either through cards you can get easily or free Credits acquired from a card that was "worthless" to you before). Attempting to paint the AH as an unmitigated disaster doesn't really match reality. It certainly isn't perfect, but it has been quite good for the player, Cat Daddy, and the game.NWGameDad

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Thank you NWGameDad for the post. I appreciate you acknowledging that the AH does have a (supply) problem, and that you are looking at ways to fix it whether in this version or in the 2k16 version.Last edited by vince217; 06-22-2015, 11:19 AM.IGN for My2k17: vince217

You seem intent on misrepresenting what I have said in the past to prove a point, so let me spell it out its simple as I can for you.

First of all. Thanks for you answer. Two points I want to emphasize :
1/ There is a too high supply that is true,, but it partially comes from the early game where we all stacked our cards when there was NO AH. Especially when you gave out 3 stars as a season reward, it was hard for us player to understand when you cut it, but clearly it was a good move fot the overall health of the game. I didn't see it at the time cause it was kinda frustrating, but it allowed the game to keep its appeal longer.
I seriously thinks now, the number of card "given for free" is fair. A reset can take 400 boards (my last was over 3K games). And winning a PO season isn't that easy even with a stacked deck ( i got a mix of 10 PO/POTG pro and struggle in semi often).
2/ you earlier stated that you were evaulating a "quicksell option" (obviously for a quite low amount of credit maybe 15% of the AH value?). In my opinion, this would cut, a lot of BB deals, and inject some needed credits to the relaunch the economy. Is that something we can expect for this year or not at all?
Thanks in advance for you answer.Last edited by Danab; 06-22-2015, 11:27 AM.Comment
