With the RC coming this week people so desperate for RP they selling leg pros for 90k

Disgusting. Player base killing AH this year just as surely as they did last year.

Im thinking about putting him up for sale. What do yal think would be a good price. Was thinking like 185k BIN...?
There is currently a 2 slot up for 200K BIN..

If there's one up for 200k, and it's inferior to yours, why undercut it? You could list at the same price, and have an absolute advantage.

You could even list for higher. I would.

People need to stop trying to undercut every sale on AH. That's why prices are dropping so rapidly. Legends are gonna be selling at 30k soon. I'm sure of it. People need to chill with the desperation.

I sold Westbrook Pro for 200k just the other day. Which, to me, was insanely low.. now I'm seeing Leg Pros up for under 100k. Disgusting. Then these same people gonna be crying about how AH is dead next month, not understanding at all that THEY are the ones killing it.

Very true. Well said. But are you willing to wait weeks and weeks just for a buyer to come by? Especially now that Leg++ tier players are getting free legs and only noobies are buying legs on AH. Further more. Most people disregard specialisations and enhancements and do not care as long as they get the lowest price possible. But yes, what u said is very true and i do see players killing the AH due to the leg cards becoming common and which soo many ppl pulling them every day. There is too much supply compared to demand. Thus, prices drop. Its that simple.

This what happens though when you have a draft board where people are constantly pulling cards that they could care less about using. They are just going to keep undercutting each other for quick sales. Add that to the fact that the buyers are very selective on what they do actually buy bc we can't sell anything we buy from the AH and the sellers just get more and more desperate to sell.

I disagree that people disregard specs and slots. That's just not true. If there's a card for 200k, and a card that's just objectively better, for the same price, players are gonna gravitate towards the better card. My thought (and I've tested this, and had it pay off), is that if someone is already willing to spend 175k or so on a card, they're ABSOLUTELY gonna be willing to spend an extra 25k or so, on the better version of that card. I have a 3 slot, DEF spec AD Pro ready to go, and (even though CD screwed me over with this week's RC) I'm listing that card for a pretty penny, because it's one of the best cards you can possibly get on AH. Why sell cheap? I'd rather just keep the damn thing for myself.

As for the last part, this isn't even a matter of supply and demand. This is a matter of sellers not being patient enough to let the market set. People are so quick to undercut every sale they see, to get their goods off quicker. The prices you're seeing now are not being dictated by market forces. They're being dictated by impatience and desperation. That's it.

Agreed . There can definitely be a healthier market but with the rc, ppl are throwing away legs like they get them within 50boards. I dk why they are so desperate for rp to climb the ladder.... I find that every one of my legends are priceless. I would be soo happy when ever i pull one. Dont get why they are being sold at under100k

Well part of the problem is also that people are dumping everything on the AH. Why not use some of them? Sure you can get more RP for them now, but is that everything that matters?


I still bought 2 UR Pippen to make a pro just because he is one of my favorite players. Not that i desperately need him, he barely makes my season lineup.


Heck i even see people dumping their Legendary freebie!?!
How insane is that! You just made a new tier and already selling the first card when it should be your best card at that point!

The effects is gonna last for a long long long long time. Till my nba2k17 comes out then we will repeat this mistake over agn hahahaha

It doesn't matter man, prices are just going to keep dropping lower and lower. I would never buy a Leg Pro for 200,000, as I am already in legendary. I assume many of the hardcore players are as well, and the other players aren't going to plunk $200 bucks into the game for a single card, especially when there are similar cards for much cheaper. Supply and demand brother, the prices are just going to keep dropping.

I assume many of the hardcore players are as well, and the other players aren't going to plunk $200 bucks into the game for a single card, especially when there are similar cards for much cheaper. Supply and demand would find prices settling at some point. This is not about supply and demand. Prices are dropping so much more quickly than supply and demand would dictate. This is 100% about sellers dropping prices out of desperation, which then creates the standard that all cards should be dirt cheap.

A premium Leg Pro for 200k isn't even a bad price. Realistically, getting a Premium Legend should run 100k+. Lebron, AD, etc. Then, to Pro it, you need two Wild Cards. They drop on draft board super rarely, and buying them from Extras pack could cost 5k... but I personally dropped 200k on extra packs last week and only pulled 3 Wilds.

Add on spec upgrades, and possibly good Enhancements... how is 200k unreasonable? It's not at all. Market forces wouldn't put the price on those any lower than 150k, and I think that's being really lenient here. Desperation and impatience is what's at work here. That's it.

And are people really STILL using the straight cash argument on this stuff? NOBODY in their right mind would ever pay for credits, and convert them to RP, so the "x amount of RP costs y amount of $$$" argument needs to be put to rest. It was a dumb argument last year, when it was admittedly far more apt. This year, the argument is borderline nonsensical.

That's "uncommon" but it can happen.

My best spell was 3 legs, 6 epics (4 players, 2 supports), 5 URs during 800 games span.

The thing you aren't factoring into your argument is the RC. If RP was ONLY used for AH & packs then your argument would hold water. Problem is with HS costing 48k RP for the big pack and b2b weeks with RC ppl are unloading their cards to stock up RP for HS. That is what is fueling the continued decrease in AH prices. If CD had waited 2 or 3 weeks for another RC it would allow the market to correct & stabilize. Since they didn't do that the market will continue to decrease. And if they do a third straight week with an event we will see the bottom out of prices for elite & leg tier. It'll get even worse when RTTC hits and even more ppl want HS to get through the early part of the event quick so they can work at the top cards. There are 2 things that could've helped the market either CD waited 2-3 weeks for another event allowing ppl to stock up RP again and the market would stabilize or HS either being bought only with creds or a much lower RP price point.
