yea I used to spend almost $50/week. Don't think I can bring myself to do that anymore. May finally buy the real 2k16 & play that until next year's app

Not true, I kept my purchased (with real money for packs) AS cards.

And you KNOW how CD does things. Have they EVER done something right when it comes to crap like this? Did anyone really think they weren't going to screw up the fix?
Not to include everyone in this. But using an analogy that Danan and @SupaHotFire1 sort of used. There is a car in a dealer lot and it has a sign that said `FREE CAR`. You took it home and now they want it back. Not only that, but they are taking another car you own, bought and paid for, as well. But all they said is that they are taking back what you `exploited`. Sounds fair to me.

I apologize to everyone here as those who knows me know that I am usually not like this. Just a little irritated by their none existing feedback during the whole ordeal and now taking aways things some of us worked hard to obtain.

But using the same analogy, I have been on a deals site in Australia (ozbargain) which list specials, online and mortar, around Australia and the globe. Often they list too good to be true prices, and people rush and pay for these items. And often the company comes back and says the pricing was an error, cancels the orders and returns the money. The special IS too good to be true, and it is not fulfilled. Same deal here.

It's tough, especially for those who invested additional resources to enhance the illegitimate cards, but they were never going to remain. We all know that CD would never allow it.

But this was not a illegitimate card. This was another card, which happens to be an All Star card obtained via season.

Also, I believe, in the US at certain places such as Costco (Big Warehouse store), whatever price they mark, they have to sell it for that price at that time. They can change it right away. So others can't take advantage, but there is a point to them listing the prices. Someone who understands the law much better can probably provide a much better insight on this.

It's call binding contract(correct me if I am wrong), a offer has been made and we accept it as what the price has stated.

I understand what you are saying, and I sympathize with you, but Costco is brick and mortar. This is digital. It is different, but I cannot assume either way if it differs in the eye of the law. I am just trying to help by providing examples that I have experienced, digitally, elsewhere. Clearly they were handled with differing levels of grace, however. The legit card you lost should be returned. As should any star contracts and wild cards. Training cards, however, as many are pushing for is probably overkill, as are any cards people auctioned away as a result of their decks dramatically being strengthened.

No, I'm pretty sure all stores retain the right to refuse the sale of an item for any reason, especially for a mistake in pricing. If an employee who doesn't know any better puts up a sign for something that has the wrong deal or wrong price, and the manager or something rings it up, they can refuse to honor it.

You'll notice this a lot online.
