We released today the updated pictures for all of the Mid-Season Update cards. Hopefully that clears up any confusion people were having with "identical" cards that they couldn't combine. We also added a few more cards based on some last minute NBA player movement that we missed on the first go around. Enjoy!

No, we haven't changed anything to the balance to compensate for the increase in difficulty of "proing" a card because of the new cards. It is a small change though statistically speaking, and we felt it more important to bring more cards out than worry about keeping the same "pro" card creation balance that we had at launch.
To your point, some of the new cards are great additions. Stephenson, Anthony Davis, Isaiah Thomas, Kawhi Leonard and others are having great years and deserved an upgrade. And some epics changed teams (although I would have handled this by just changing their team in their existing card instead of a new card). Other updates are more questionable like negligibly better Lamarcus Aldridge.
My point is, that I understand why you added some of the new cards and many of the new ones are great. But this really does make it harder to pro epics in our collection.
We have some upcoming changes to how rewards are going to work which will overall increase the odds for players getting Epics+ and put it more in the hands of the player. That will be after the next update though.Comment

For the first question, we lowered Magic's 300+ energy because it was game breaking. In general we never like to nerf someone's existing cards, but in this case it was just so outside the norm we had to lower his energy. At the same time though we did increase his Ball Control though, so we didn't feel like it was an overall nerf. For Rodman, his "Super" card is certainly not what we intended but it also is not game breaking. Instead of taking away something from players that ultimately wasn't breaking the game, we just nerfed all future Rodman cards and left the ones out there as is. Like I said, we don't like to nerf cards people already have.
All i have to say to that is super rodman is game changing to the only modes of the game that there is really any user interface to, magics 311 energy just means that there was one player that you did not have to energize as much. I would hardly call that game changing when season mode has never worked correctly. If i am paired in a season with someone 2000 stat points in every category higher than magic could have 3 million energy and it doesn't change anything he would still loose to any of the legendary pros that have to be in a lineup to break 4k stats. In a game where 1 stat point makes all the difference super rodman trumps magics energy bar none.
The inconsistency in which the application of "nerfing" cards is the real issue, and failure to address season mode obvious shortcomings appropriately in a timely fashion.Comment

I know that I will not be in the majority here but I have to say that the rivals clash has ran me away from the game. They last way too long for the average working person to be able to score high enough to get the good cards and they are too close together. It would be so much better if you would have some 1 day and 2 day rivals clashes instead of them lasting for a week. Another thing, it should not be as hard as you have made it to get a good team. I understand that you have to make money on the game but you have made it where if you dont spend money, you really have no chance to compete. Like I said, I am sure I am probably the only one that thinks this but I had to speak my mind. ThanksComment

i agree about rivals clash though, also i think people cheat in rivals?? within minutes this knicks vs pacers started people had 1000+ points?????????Comment

Use the best rating support cards for season, for rivals or quick games use the one that boosts your whole team or the one that reduces the other players whole team

Any clue how to grade support cards? I think it's self explanatory for quick game but I haven't the slightest idea how to play them in season mode. Are team/opposing team cards better than the player/opponent cards in season mode? I've got an epic Basketball Sleeve which gives +25 offense but a rare Trash Talk is -12 all stats (opponent) which would equal -48 and be better in season mode, right? Confusing… Also, the card rating spreadsheet at the bottom has a 1-43 support card numbering system…is this by rating? Thanks!Comment
