Yeah I recently bought a couple UR/Epic packs cos I got stuck in the UR+ tier and lucked out with 2 decent epics. Can't complain.

I'm sure it's been asked, but how does the season matchmaking work? I'm in an epic season where 29 of the 30 people have similarly strong decks. Then there's one person who's players are twice as strong. We all have UR pros and epics while this guy only has legendaries and epic pros. We're a third of the way through the season and it's already clear the rest of us are just playing for second.Comment

Suggestion: The Daily VC bonuses for playing quick games, and the regular bonus picks should reset every 23 hours not every 24. As it is now even the most diligent person will see the time for taking advantage of these bonuses getting pushed further and further back to the point where trying to take advantage of them pushes into some regular scheduled event i.e. bedtime/work. Making them reset every 23 hours allows a person to better control when they take advantage of the rewards. This also mitigates the problem of the unfortunate people whose rewards reset during server maintenance.
Taking myself for instance once upon a time my rewards reset at 8:00 right when I get off work. Now because of not being on the app RIGHT at 8, server maintenance, the time it takes to play quick games, and doing other stuff now they reset at 10:30. If they reset every 23 hours even if I was late a day or two I could still manage to get the rewards to reset at the same time.Last edited by Hotobu; 11-01-2014, 03:29 AM.Comment

Another suggestion. Allow us to compare multiple cards side by side. Right now the only way to compare cards from our collection is to look at one, remember it/write down the stats and go to another one. It'd be nice to be able to compare them. Also when looking at the collection it only shows the base stats of the card and the pro version. It should also show the maxed stats if we get them to that level.
Also the animations for the quick games should be user initiated. Sometimes we'll run into a card that we've never seen before, or are interested in, and it'd be nice to be able to look at the stats. Right now we've only got a short window to look because the animations start which makes the stats change. If the user has to tap the screen to start the animation we'll be able to get a look at the stats
Last suggestion, we should be able to keep our fingers pressed on the screen to fast forward the animations. As it is now it's tap, tap, tap, tap... It'd be much more user friendly if it were just press and hold.Last edited by Hotobu; 11-03-2014, 12:51 AM.Comment

You do know that they are real teams you are playing against in season right?
It is just that the gameplay WITHIN the game itself is automated. The picking your lineup and recharging their stamina and/or choosing to use boosts is all on the team manager, who is a human being.
So the people battling it out and it goes to seven games, that is two different human being who want an equal right to compete in the season just like you, so therefore they should have the opportunity to go seven games if they have to...Comment

Another gameplay suggestion is that cards should level from playing as well as training (Let's call these playing time levels). Seeing as this is a grind heavy game, a mechanic like this will make people feel like they're earning something beyond just the ability to draft a couple of more cards. This also has the added benefit of giving people who are stuck in the quicksand of a particular tier to get a little bit stronger after playing tons of games, and make people who feel asthough they're "unlucky" like they're still earning something.
With this mechanic in place player cards would have two separate leveling meters. One from the current way that they're trained, and another from winning games, winning matchups, and winning seasons. It could go something like this.
Participate in a quick match = 1 exp
Win head to head matchup in quick match = 2 exp
Team wins game in quick match = 2 exp
Team wins 50 season games = 3 exp
Team wins 60 season games = 7 exp
etc...
A player card could gain a max of 3 - 5 levels with a 1% stat boost for each level with the last level granting a 2% boost.
These numbers aren't perfect, but they're just to give an idea of the way something like this could work.Comment

It's been my experience that the series that go 7 games are usually due to players with similar strengths, not bots. They are constantly re-energizing.Comment

Put this in another thread, figured I'd post it here.
Consider putting in a second warning (with a 5 second timer) if the card being used to train is equal to the tier that the person is in, a Michael Jordan card, or a fully trained card/pro card. In situations like this a card of this type being used as training fodder is most likely to be a mistake. Also maybe not for this version, but for future versions you should make it where pictures of the cards being used to train from highest rarity/value to lowest pops up. Again, if people see something like this they're more likely to catch their mistakes.Comment

Defensive players still dont get proper respect. Prince offense sucks in real life but his offense rating is better then his defense on the game. Defenders need higher defense so they can win some defensive vs offense matchups. Dikembe leg defense 735, Rodman 735, GP, 746, Moncrief 744, Noah 731 while serge 771? Also Zach randolph defense 731. So the margin between dikembe and zach is only +4 on defense, while ibaka is significantly better then all those great defenders?Comment
