Hmm, the changes didn't appear until about 15 mins after his post though, at which point my client was broken. Seems more like a case of broken after live.

What sucks is nwgamedad is telling people on Twitter it's a bad Game install. It isn't, gone thru all that troubleshooting process and its a bad client.

Haha, nothing we can do except wait for CD games to acknowledge there is a problem and hopefully they will roll things back.

However, more than likely, they will patch a fix and allow the games to continue, meaning any season activity could be affected.

I'm hoping not, though.. I haven't lost a season yet and was hoping to keep that streak alive.

We will be releasing the new update on May 5th in the morning PST time. There will be a couple hours transition time where the client will be available from your app stores, but the server will not have the data changed with all the new changes yet. This is because the clients hit different Internet mirrors at different times around the world, so we cannot require the client right away. At noon though we will be requiring the new client (that should give enough time for the client to be propagated) and pushing all the server data changes at that time. So, drop rates, reward changes, etc. will not be in effect until 12pm.


This does affect the Rivals Clash Pre-Game timing (not the gameplay timing). We will not be releasing the Pre-Game information in game until after 12pm on Monday (normally we release it on Sunday). The Rivals Clash event will start gameplay though as normal on Tuesday, 12:01am PST. This will allow us to do not only the new rank tiers, but also new rewards for Rivals.

is there any chance you try to help a lot of us android user who keep crashing ? Thanks

Game is broken after new data push.

1) updated my android client earlier today.

2) downloaded new assets.

3) when the new data hit, I got a bunch of garbled text and the images on the cards showed up with the download icon.

4) restarted app and now it proceeds to f/c after the nba logos (before prompting to log in).

5) deleted app and downloaded again. Redownloaded assets.

6) still same behavior.

Kind of sucks cause my season playoffs rnd 1 just started and the guy in 16th place is my only competition (he did just enough to get in playoffs, but he has a strong team). Would really be crappy if I lose cause I can't log in and energize my players :l .

We have gotten all the reports from the Android users encountering this crash bug. We have several people working on it. I don't have a specific timing on the fix yet, but we think it is a DLC problem and we can fix it very quickly. Stay tuned.

Good thing android users waited for iOS. Now they can play and we can't. Awesome...
