Hi there, first time posting. Just had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer for me.

What is this "freebie" I've heard about?...
How many boards do I have to clear to get another star? (I'm star+ atm)
What will come with the new update, other than a new tier?

If anyone could answer these, or point me to the answers, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Just some brief answers:

Freebie is the card you get when you enter a new tier (NO + or ++)
For example i entered Star tier and got Gary Payton in my first reset

The board clears are not confirmed but i think its somewhere around 260ish boards for Star +

The new update includes these atleast:
Playoff tier
The Greats cards (PO cards but even better)
Nerf for the 3/2 lineup
MVP Star cards will become auctionable
Don't remember anything else :P

The 3/2 nerf won't be in the update - at least this is my guess. They said, that they need some more testing before they release it.

So mainly new cards, new tier and some new functions. But so far they don't told us exactly what it will be - might be some kind of ingame chat

They are codes to get stuff in NBA2K15 game (Xbox/PS/PC) - VC or players
You can get them for example from twitter #lockercodes.
But its hard to get anything recently, as they are used up very fast...

Hello, first post.

Question: I have read through the FAQ thread to answer some of my questions.

I have played and won 3,300 games. Lost 500

It has taken me 5 months, I only play (QG) really. It just seems I'm doing something wrong. My best 3 cards are (Super Rare MJ PRO) (Ultra Rare pros LBJ & Boozer.)

I feel after almost 4,000 games played I'm doing something wrong. I look on these threads and see all these players with LEGEND cards and STAR and I still don't even have an EPIC card.

I don't spend $ buying cards, Im not opposed 2 buying some cards but am I DOING anything wrong?

Alright I've fought myself to ask these questions (and not look like a NEWB) but I just cannot find the answer. So here are my two questions:

1) What is Buyback? (Essentially when someone says that they are selling/trading a card with $$$$ buyback, what are they referring to?)

2) What is BIN?

If somebody says he is selling something with a buyback, this means, if you buy one of his cards, he will buy one of yours. Some cards don't sell, but if you offer a buyback it might be easier. Others do it, just to help guys.
So it is a way, to lower the price for the buyer and make it a bit more attractive for him.

So what I did yesterday, somebody was asking for a Kevin Love. I sold him this for 2400 credits and afterwards I bought back a common for 1.300 credits.

Buy it now - the price you have to pay to get the card directly without waiting till the end of the auction

Yes, you are doing something wrong. You are only playing Quick Games, and this will be a long and stony road to get a Star or even a Playoff deck.

First of all, play the events like Rival Clash and RTTC. And you should play as many seasons as you can.
You either have to invest a lot of time or money. So it is up to you, but the first step would be to grind a lot during the next Rivals Clash, this will give you the opportunity to get great cards.

I've started the game in February, and only by participating in Rivals Clash I was able to catch up pretty easy with most of the guys here in the Forum

Whats going on with the "friends" aspect of the new update? I have plenty of people on my psn who play myteam mobile but it shows no one on my screen.

Alright last newbie question for me. Can someone give me a quick explanation of "resets". I've been seeing posts about waiting for a "reset" to get Star or PO players, just not sure what it means.

I just heard about this recently as well when I was researching strategy for RC.

For example, I am in Legendary+ Tier. Let's say I have cleared 150 draft boards so far in the legendary tier. I am guaranteed a legendary draw at 220 draft board clears (I am guessing at the number. I think it is close to that.) So my progress towards a legendary is 150/220 board clears, If I drop some players from my lineup and my tier goes to Epic+, and I draw an epic card, that resets my draft board so that even if I put my good cards back in the lineup and my tier went back to Legendary+ I am back to 220 draft board clears until a guaranteed legendary.

This actually hurt me recently. I was afraid to drop tiers during RC and stayed in Legendary tiers. I just started playing this game, and NBA 2k15, in the last three weeks or so. I downloaded the app towards the end of the last RC with Heat and Mavs.
