Draft pick rates too low?

So I've been in the Ultra Rare + tier for about 1000 games now and the only ultra rare I've drafted is on my very first pick when I entered UR from SR++. I got another ultra rare from getting 3 player cards and I guess I got lucky from that. Other than that, I've gotten a handful of Super Rare cards and no Ultra Rare cards. Am I unlucky or are other people experiencing the same thing?

I've had the same experience. I have 5 UR cards. One was the rookie LeBron, one was the automatic UR tier pick, one was from winning a season and 1 is the MJ reward. I think I've been in UR/UR+ for over 1,000 games, so I've landed one other UR card through the draft board.

I just received an Ultra Rare card by winning the Championship in the Season Mode. I notice that now that my hand consists of 4 Ultra Rare cards, I mainly pull only Uncommon cards at a minimum, lots of duplcates to train up, Pro then train my better cards with.

That sounds just like me. Is the rookie lebron from the using 3 player cards? I'm trying really hard to win my current season, but we'll see how it goes. I'll be entering the ultra rare season next, so I may be screwed for a while until I get some more UR's.

I've drafted 2 Oladipo's, 2 Craig Ehlo's, Gerald Henderson, George Hill, Darren Collison, Boris Diaw, Hersey Hawkins, Brandon Knight, Markieff Morris and Nick Young

So to me, drafting seems normal

I'm about the same, i have 7 URs. i've only drafted 2 URs and the first one was a "freebie" for getting into the UR tier. the other one, a KG UR, after playing 1000 games or so.

the others were rewards for winning the SR season and the MJ reward. :/ i guess i'll draft another UR after 1000 games..

i really hope the RC would come soon.

I played nearby 5000 games in both Tier and got :

Zero Legend
Zero Epic
maybe 5 UR
mostly,really mostly Rar Cards

Grinding is useless at ultra rare and above tiers ... exept if you want to spend hours on getting rare or super rare cards.

you are right, the current drop rate system is just too random. One player can draft 3 URs in 1000 games while another won't get any. So it's all about luck and chance. Really hope they implement the new drop system they are testing soon.

The only reason to grind now is if you want the ladder rewards. I just grinded up to 5023 games so I can pro the UR Jordan. After getting it I've slowed down a lot. The next ladder reward card is 15023 games that's just too much of a grind for 1 epic card especially with the way drop rates are now.

Actually the 10K ladder reward is worth grinding for. It gets you halfway to an epic pack. Anyone that had the foresight to save their credits should be able to combine this reward with the daily bonuses to get a free epic/legendary.

It's the same as last year pre RC , in order to get good cards you had to spend money, drop rates are set up that way for that reason. Most people either don't have time or extremely impatient and CD know it. I'm yet to draft an UR card after 3000 gms, only play for energy in seasons for some time now, coz it's pretty much pointless atm.

WWE one is the same too. WWE I'm in Super Rare ++ and I've never drafted a super rare card from the exhibition deck even though I've played hundreds of games. Best I get is a rare, or a boost card.

Same with NBA one, I should be getting super rare players but I only get rare players and super rare enhancements. If it wasn't for Season mode, I wouldn't have a single super rare card.

As I alluded to earlier I'm only grinding to get that 1200 credit reward, and out of habit. While I'd certainly like to get an epic/UR I have 0 hope of doing so. After I get that ladder reward I'm thinking the only reason I'll play QG is to refill my guys for the season.

I'm also trying to get to 10000 games for that 1200 credit and get an epic pack with my credits saved so far. I'm just going at it slower than I was going for 2nd UR Jordan at 5023 games.

I think I'll probably end up doing the same thing. I'm working toward the UR Jordan pro now, then I'll finish off with the epic pack. I'll probably just do enough quick games for a while to ensure I make the playoffs. I won my last SR season this morning and moved into UR. If I can just make it to the second round, it is a guaranteed UR, so that's all I'm aiming at for a while.
