MY last season finals was complete bull****
#1 vs #2 seed
our line-ups were nearly identical we split the season and even the first two games were complete even
So i decided to fully boost while he only boosted 2 or 3 stats.
He then got 2 Off for Game 4 and 5 and even 3 times in Game 6 and completely crushed me

Supposedly the quarters are supposed to be random, but it does seem like some of the games are extended. If the cat you were playing had more offense based quarters, then you won't have a chance.

I know this method takes a little bit more effort, but towards the end of the season (around game 70), I will have a look at the other playoff teams (you've faced all the other teams at least once by this point) and position my team to at least face an opposition I know I can easily beat in round 1 of the playoffs. If you put more effort into it, you can even guarantee yourself an easy path to the semis.

Obviously, this doesn't quite work if you're just scrapping into those playoffs spot.

That completely makes sense however I still can't figure out how the AI places your cards. If it shows Off, you would assume that it would take the 2 best Off players depending on when it was played.

Your recommendation still provides you the best chance of match ups regardless of the AI.

I still wouldn't want to lose the 5%. I had only one cat out of place in this tourney. With still only one loss going into the semi-finals and making top 15 of RC. I updated energy ⚡ every game but 1.

I think the common cards weigh down things alot. One of the reasons why I've been hoping that the tier rules get changed. There needs to be a max limit on cards in a higher tier than the one you're in. And a limit on amount of cards in a lower tier than yourself as well. So that way, we can get rid of all these people who have 5 cards in a higher tier and rest are common or something(for season mode) or exhibition ones where 3 are from higher tiers and 2 are from lower.

Cause it does get annoying not just in season,but exhibition. Playing someone who has 3 cards in a tier higher than mine, and the other 2 cards are commons or something.

It's good and bad. Good if you manage to beat 1 of those 3 cards cause then it's an automatic win. Bad cause you don't know just how good those 3 cards are, so you don't know when to use your best card/play the support card.

Don't get me wrong, I do win most of these matchups, but it makes the game less fun always facing people with those types of lineups. Facing people with lineups similar to mine would be more fun cause then it involves real strategy and knowing if you lose,it's cause the other side simply had a better lineup or just had better AI strategy, not cause they had 3 ultra rares + 2 commons in their lineup while you had 5 super rares.

I don't think the problem is cards in a higher tier, I think the problem is common benches. If you have a card or two that is in a much higher tier, that actually isn't much of an issue. Sure, they'll beat any card that goes against them, but that also means the rest of their cards are generally weaker than yours. Common benches keep the overall total down, meanwhile their top 10 is significantly better. You're basically punishing a player for having good depth. If they do the rankings by the total of their top 10 cards, I think that would even out the playing field. Just a thought.

What are the odds that I just faced a 20 loss AI team in the finals? He never even recharged.

Low since bots will recharge and use random boosts and almost never make it that far in a season. You just went up against a player who fell asleep
