Re: Tracking your Counter Resets
In these discussions, a "board" refers to when you get a Rare or better and it clears that current board. A "reset" is when you get a card with a rarity equal to the tier you are currently in (i.e. an Ultra Rare on an Ultra Rare tier, etc) and it resets the hidden counter for when you will get your next tier level card.
For example, for Epic tier, most people say it is a maximum of 110-120 boards before you are guaranteed another one. If you are lucky, you will sometimes get another equivalent card before you get to that maximum.
Hope that helps.IGN: Jake

Seems pretty clear, but what do you mean by 'hidden counter'?In these discussions, a "board" refers to when you get a Rare or better and it clears that current board. Re: Tracking your Counter Resets
Sorry, that's just what I speculatively call it. When you get a card in your tier, I think there is a counter associated with your account as to when you'll get the next card in your tier, but we don't see it.IGN: Jake

Re: Tracking your Counter Resets
The hidden counter simply counts up, there is a maximum and if you were not lucky enough to get a reset before the maximum, that will be the highest number of resets you have to reach.
If you reach this point - you will get a definitely reset.
So for example the counter for Super Rare would be 25
If you cleared 24 boards, with the next reset you will get 100% a super rare.
And as soon as you draft a card with the same value than your tier, the counter is getting reset.Comment

Oh okay, that makes sense now. So basically there's a certain amount of picks I have to get before I get a card in the tier I'm in?The hidden counter simply counts up, there is a maximum and if you were not lucky enough to get a reset before the maximum, that will be the highest number of resets you have to reach.

Re: Tracking your Counter Resets
Yes, but it could be less than that.
In Epic for example I got one reset after the maximum and then 2 resets within 50 boards. Which is far away from the maximum.
You could be lucky, but most of the time it takes the max. And that is why people are counting, cause then you know your progress and how long it could take before the next one.
Don´t know if it was already mentioned, the first time you reached a new tier (Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Epic, Legendary, Star / not the + or ++ Level) you will get a reset. What is called Freebie.
So for example the max reset ist 250 and you are sitting currently at 245 don't move up a tier as it will reset your counter.
Go for the 250 and move then up!Comment

Is the max always 250 or does it change?Yes, but it could be less than that.

I already have a leg +18 OFF +18 REB to team support so I don't know if I should be happy about this card. On the other hand it's my first star support...Comment
