Guys you don't get it, they don't care. They have shown it's all about the money.

This is all true and I don't disagree with any of it. Even at that, if you look back at what you've written you're arguing less against the fact people shouldn't be compensated and more about the logistics of doing so. I agree that it's a tough thing to solve, and to be quite honest The whole reason I even started was because I'm arguing against the asinine position that people shouldn't feel entitled to something.

I don't know what can be done that would be fair, but to dismiss the fact that people should want something is silly.

Every single business in the entire world is all about the money, welcome to the world! Of course they care, if they didn't there would be no updates, no improvements, and they wouldn't have a guy on these forums answering every little cry baby who thinks they know more about game creation than the people who get paid for it, (which by the way, if you actually did, you'd be making the game, but since you're not.....you get it)

Yes going back on the season's being paused wasn't the best thing in the world, but he explained it wasn't something they did on purpose to spite you, or to hurt you, it was just the cost of updating the game. None of this was planned, they aren't trying to throw a middle finger to their consumers and say "haha we shut you down to spite you". Should people get compensation? Maybe, and maybe they would have if we didn't have a handful of people on here the second the game went down, crying that they deserve to be paid for having to wait.

If the 10 people on here that are really making a big fuss about this, actually stop buying packs, and leave, I'm sure they'll survive. I'm sure they won't miss you at all, won't even realize you left. As someone else said, you see people on here saying "I was gunna buy a pack, but now I'm not". Just stop, if you have to come out and say "I was gunna buy a pack", I'm sorry to say, you never were. So just stop. Threatening to stop playing a FREE game won't get you anywhere, they probably never made money off you anyway, so why would they care? Just take the downtime in stride, I'm sure they'll make up for it eventually with a new event, or something. In turn, let's get back to what this forum was actually meant for and that's to suggest fixes, and talk about our triumphs and losses.

Actually, if I look back at what I've written I argue that if any compensation comes it should be based on the merits of how much revenue it will grant CD in the long term. I'm stating that logistics is one of the costs of compensation and should be included in the calculations when determining the overall return. That would be the selfish (note: selfish is not bad here, in fact being selfish is what a lot of economics is based on) thing for CD to do.

The selfish (again, not an insult here) thing for the player to do would be to expect that something will operate perfectly every time and when it doesn't, to expect reparations for any trouble it caused you. It's not unreasonable to feel entitled to something. After all, it's a feeling, an emotional state or reaction. I'm just saying that it holds no logic. You can feel all you want but if you think about it you shouldn't expect to get something out of it (other than your feelings hurt).

Anyway, this is fun. Thanks for being a good sport!

Which is to funnel money from addicts/kids via ridiculously overpriced card packs.
the part of this quote from an earlier poster that i wanted to point out was we were told seasons would be paused.
Clearly they weren't paused, and I earned the 2nd seed and would have at least gone on to the finals. I'm not asking for something i didnt earn, because i put the time in for those 3 days.
I also like how my email that i sent to support wasn't replied to.
