I like Rttc as well. I have about 13 Star Pros. And I'll admit the lower tiers are a little tedious and mindless. But once you get to the top tier, it can be challenging and fun. Playing against decks with random RC pros, MVP pros, RS pros, AS pros, and HoF pros is fun since you don't see those often in QG. It definitely breathed some much needed life into this game.

RTTC
I need to disagree a bit, sure it will be a good chance to grab some draft picks. But in theory it doesn´t matter if you play 4 Quick Games or 1 RTTC game. Both will bring you 8 picks and the amount of time is nearly the same.
Furthermore, if they sell on the auction house is pretty unsure to me. As many of these cards will be on the market. Higher tier players don't need them (only as training fodder) and lower tier players won´t get them. And the cards they get, are useless.
As I said, I don´t expect to get the Hakeem. But at least the event should be an improvement for your deck. And that is not the case in anyway. If it stays at it is, okay. But then I don´t need to play this event. I could play Quick Games, whenever I want without waiting on, or buying, Game Nights.
In my opinion the event should be at least a possibility to improve your deck.
I could invest some money and collect hundreds of losses, but really? No way that I will doing this.
I´ve reached the wall with 36 hrs left, means with a few credits I could have get the card above my tier. But I don´t see any reason in it, even more if I have to play players out of position just to get higher chances in beating the KI.
Season:
We talked a lot about them, but to be honest they are screwed. As soon as you realize that there is one stronger guy in your season, you can tank. Their is no need (even in lower tiers) to win seasons and invest more time into it. Simply go for the Quarter Finals and you will get the same reward like the guys in the Finals, beside those few credits.
In my last season, everybody was tanking, nobody did energizing anymore as they realized they can't beat me.
You should really rethink the reward system. When you announced that we get credits, we thought additional. Not as a replacement.
Auction House
Personally I still think, that it is far away from perfect. It is never a good sign, if people try to find ways to buy and sell under minimum. If you want to avoid flooding of the markets, there are in my eyes different ways to achieve the same.
RC
We will see what it brings, if you are aiming for Top 1000 it looks good. Everything else I am not sure, as dupe Legends, dupe Epics etc help you a lot in different stages of the game. We will see how it will work out.
General:
In my eyes, that thread and many others showed that you didn´t achieved what you should expect after an update -> more satisfaction. You did many things right, but you killed it with others. One of the biggest issues was the communication, if you change basic things, there needs to be way more communication than just one short sentence in the update summary.
So far the RC is really the only thing I am hoping for, as RTTC is useless and season could be played without taking care. If you have the strongest deck, you will win it easily. If you are second or third, tank from the quarter final on. If you get 20 credits more, fine. If not, who cares? You won 4 hrs or 8 hrs.Comment

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
The minimums for epics have to be lowered, they are too high.
You get an UR Pro for 620 BIN, an EPIC for 1300 BIN, EPIC Pro for 2400 BIN, LEG for 2400 BIN.
A single epic costs almost double the BIN for UR pros. But a single leg costs the same as epic pros.
URs and legs were easy to sell for me, but it's near to impossible to sell an epic.
My suggestion:
Epics min BIN: ~900
Epic Pros min BIN: ~ 1600
EDIT: I made a mistake - BIN for epics is 1560! So its ~2,4x the BIN for UR pros, which is ridiculous!Last edited by bullseye; 03-22-2015, 03:11 PM.Comment

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
People selling below minimum kills my business, then when I have to resort to that I make very little profit since the tax is so high. I tried to sell without making a deal for below min but I went 12/12 unsold cards.

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
They reduced the rewards in Seasons drastically and changed the reward structure of RCs, in large part because they introduced RTTP as a new way to obtain cards.
The problem is that RTTP is the hardest mode to get a card to improve a lower level deck, and takes far more time commitment than seasons. I'm probably about 1000 games worth of grinding and using draft picks to level up cards from being able to squeek into a Star season, at which point I will be able to get a Star card just by energizing my season team every 5-6 hours. Over the course of the full season, I probably need to win 150-200 quick games. tops, to keep my energy near max all the time. So over the course of 91 or so hours, I need to average like 2 minutes an hour played, and I walk away with a Star Card.
Contrast this with Rivals Clash, where I need to win like 500 to 1000 games a day during the event to end up with a star card, and probably need to use boosts if I want the RC Pro card.
Contrast also with the RTTP where my deck tier is down considerably, and I've got to spend more time on it than even Rivals Clash, for a lesser reward.
RTTP needs some fine tuning to be in line with the time spent vs. reward of the other events.QG Tier: Legendary++

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
The problem with the difficulty of RTTC comes when you consider the changes in season rewards. With these changes for people that didn't play any star seasons before it's much more difficult to catch up to the top players who profited from the several star rewards. So the new season rewards privilege those who play this game for a long time. As if that is not enough, you give the top players another privilege by letting them win further star cards that players without several star pros can't win. So you make it for the latter players even more difficult to catch up to the top players.Comment

Also RTTC is rubbish. The idea was good but the execution horrible. The way to be successful in RTTC is to have... 10 pro'd stars. Remind you of something? Why all the noise about "getting your top 25 cards" if the remaining 15 don't matter? RTTC will just broaden the already broad gap between players at star level and everyone below.
60 credits and single leg instead of double leg for losing the finals? No thank you, want the old rewards back.Comment

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
To sum up everybody's reaction to RttC. there are two distinct camps = those who think it was bad and those who think it was good.
Those who think it was bad are players who couldn't win Ewing and up or who hit the wall before their targeted prize.
Those who think it was good are players who got Ewing and to a certain extent Hakeem.
Most seem to agree that they like the 8 picks after every win. But we are just really playing 4 quick games back to back and saving the 2 picks until after the 4th game. It is a little bit faster because we just choose 1 opponent at the start and draft after basically playing 4 quick games. So it's ok but not too groundbreaking.
So it's up to CD to tweak this event and see if they can it better for more players the next time around.Comment

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
I dont understand why low tier users would be upset with the rewards. Someone whos' LU is a few Pro Legs, shouldnt be able to recieve the same rewards as someone with an all Pro Stars roster.
Coz the person with the Pro Star roster has either spent more money or spent a ton more time playing the app, so he should definitely have an "exclusivity" on the to rewards.
Low tier players were able to draft an UR, an Epic, a Leg and perhaps a Star from this. It's not bad i think.Bring Romar back!!!Comment

But all the complains about RttC I've read is from people who hit the wall. Didn't notice any complains from people who got Ewing and or Hakeem.
I just summarized what I've been reading the past 3 days.Comment

Re: Update 6 Release Notes - March 18th
I am one of those that hit a wall and think the difficulty needs to be reviewed.
I flew through Malone (Legendary) unbeaten on +5 then looked forward to grinding out a Ewing playing +2 games as I needed another star card (I am just in leg for RTTC, I am star QG) but I couldn't even win a single +2 game.
That is the problem I have. How can it be that my deck allows me to run +5 in Leg to get Malone with no worries yet I can't even win a single game at +2 on the next tier?
Secondly while I might be just a leg deck in RTTC I am a star deck in QG so the star reward in RTTC really is the only reward I am after.
My problem is the only reward that helped me, and to be honest wouldn't even make my QG lineup, was unobtainable (Ewing).
I am not moaning about not get Hakeem, that is an elite reward for hte top decks, fair enough, I am moaning that the reward for my current QG tier was unobtainable, that is wrong.IGN: nzjase
