I also don't think they killed the strategy. Win the plus 2's like you were and win 2 single matches and you will win I think. It's really going to make a minimal difference if they did what everyone thinks they did to fix it.

I just looked it up, it is 224 points for The Greats card. All the previous points remain the same.

Same with the epic cards while I was in that tier. On mynba2k14 reaching the finals in a season gave you two of the same cards, making pro cards and progression much easier. With this game the only way to win cards you can pro is by being in the top 100 in RC, which is virtually impossible. So yeah, you're right that pro'ing cards will make you advance, but with how this game is setup that is extremely hard to do unless you pay for cards in the auction house or have amazing luck in pulling cards or season rewards.

You said it yourself though, we did give you the Auction House to Pro your card. That is a very easy method of, arguably easier than before even, of getting the exact dupe you need to Pro something. It does require Credits, but we give you both free Credits and free cards to go and sell to get free Credits. Whether you engage in the Auction House is a choice, but rewards are based around the fact that the Auction House does exist now.

did you guys ever think about making credits affordable for a reasonable price? considering the price right now, a star pro is worth about 80€.

You will argue, that you give out free credits, sure. We would have to wait about 1 Month to convert this free credits into a star pro.

The prices for credits just look way too expensive. I seriously think, that more people would buy credits and you would earn more money, if they were reasonable. This just looks nearly as greedy as EA-style...

That would actually something I would love to see, too. Playoff cards need like 30% more XP than Stars to be fully trained, whereas the training fodder XP value remains unchanged. How many of those quick games are we supposed to play, hm?

Oh, or the drop rate of higher value cards could be improved for higher tiers. Give us a few more epics or legendaries while grinding in playoff tiers. Their drop rate is still as low as it ever was, isn't it?

I love the idea of the auction house, but it doesn't change the fact that it would take months worth of saving season rewards and daily lottery credits to even afford a card that would advance me in this game. I understand this is a business for you guys, but the dollar amount attributed to these cards is astronomically high. Smaller prices would not only help the players, but I feel it'd also encourage more people to actually purchase credits. I think there's a happy medium somewhere where everyone wins, and that isn't charging 40 or so dollars for a single star card (or 100+ for a playoff is obviously more ridiculous, but I'm not at that stage in the game yet so I'm not using that example).

I do enjoy this game ultimately, and appreciate the work you guys do. But the money value associated with these credits should really be looked into I feel, both from a consumer and business aspect. Sometimes lots of smaller purchases can add up to greater returns than over charging and attracting less albeit bigger purchases.

                    Re: RTTC Discussion

in an ideal world CD would be reasonable.

they would let lower tier players improve faster without investing money - I play for more than 3 months now, I haven't paid for anything, since the Miami RC I'm Legendary+ tier in QG.
I was fortunate to draft the same LeBron card a week later, the same day I earned Billups in RttC, a day later I picked Carmelo on the draft board so I was really lucky previously. yet I have just 4 epic pros which is kinda strange if you think about it for a second considering I'm being at least epic tier for 2 months.

I mean, RC was ridiculous for offering three straight times epic sgs with basically the same values (all of them great offensively, no special skill for the team, the Waiters card was a joke although, I feel lucky getting Westbrook that time). now we're here when it's the 3rd time CD offers an epic SF in RttC (I don't remember the first one, I could manage to earn the UR card).

I wouldn't have any problem with that if it wouldn't been so hard to make a pro of them for several reasons.

passing 10k was huge for me weeks ago, I could make a pro Darryl Dawkins for 800 credits and I spent the rest for hot streaks in RttC, but listen: I'm actually envy of those people getting RttC epics on the draft board because I'm basically not getting any epics for more than a month now without the events or losing to people with commons in epic tier in the playoffs - and even if I would've win a season, I would get a legendary card (in RttC they are important for me beating Epic+ decks) and 250 credits. it doesn't take serious math skills to know that I have to play seasons for 2 weeks to buy the epic card I want but there is no guarantee I'm not gonna face an opponent in the playoffs with a deck consisting of pro legendary and epics with commons on the bench.

instead of basically ruining the chances of lower tier players to improve their decks you should just figure out how to end this common nonsense in seasons and QG/RC. I didn't but a lot of people paid a sh-load of money and I guess a lot of them are frustrated with this craziness.

the next thing you should do is to bring back the old reward system in seasons. in epic tier you get only 250 credits as I mentioned above but if you're not winning it all you end up getting a hilarious 60 credits for playing as much as the winner, and also getting a weaker card which is actually normal but cmon, the finals loser gets actually the same card as the semis loser? this is insane. give the finals loser at least 2 epics, and I don't care about that 60 credits.

but actually I would appreciate those if you could help making more out of it by supporting people in the AH by showing some trends or whatever, making people able to communicate with each other and bargaining or uploading needs and offers for free (kudos for making season chat, that's a fantastic idea but it has some minor flaws beside one major flaw: you can't reach out to everybody but only to 29 player). I tried to sell like 6 times cards and none of them were sold. but at least I can't complain about 30% tax on my income because I don't have any. all I can complain is I could've spent that money on attribute coaches.

I feel frustrated when I get an attribute coach but I have full of that slot. it feels like I played for basically a worthless clear of the board. if you could make us able to stash them for later seasons but keeping the beginning with 5 of them would be alright for me.

but it isn't an ideal world and CD is greedy. I guess it's no coincidence that the two words are rhyming.

I just wish the rewards for the event was a different position then the prior one for each tier. Seriously, 3 bad star PF in a row? Variety my man.

Twelve pro epics is enough to get Legendary tier in exhibition and Season, but not enough to win a legendary card in RTTC. Ridiculous.

As I think about the teams, I'm not even sure being in epic tier RTTC will get you the epic card.
Being in epic tier gets you an epic easily. I don't have any epic pros, only epic singles and pro UR and can easily beat epic rttc using a combo of +5 and +2 without any hot streaks. I don't pay for this game. Legendary on the other hand......
