The reason there were 3 stars for winning was there was no "next tier" card to give the winner so instead they gave an extra couple of star cards.

When playoff tier comes out we should be able to revert to the above with no problems and the winner of playoff should probably get something like x2 playoff cards and 2k credits.

The season change killed the worth of seasons. If you can't win in lower levels you tank in the QFinals. It has become epically boring.

As an earlier poster said, the point of the game previously was to build your seasons team. Now you don't need to, just need to win one matchup in the playoffs then tank. Pointless
This. Issue no 1 to deal with: season rewards.

Yeah, so I'll dig down and check out all the feedback on this.

I disagree. You're in Epic seasons and if you won 400-800 credits that's basically a fully trained Epic card from the AH. So I guess they measure it like that.

I don't know what epic rewards are, but I'm guessing second place used to be 2 epics and now is an epic and 60 credits? What is 60 credits going to do for you? Or are you assuming that everyone wins every season?

              Yes it was 2 Epics.
Which is actually more useful at that point of time in the game

The whole point is that they don't want you to get enough easy credits to actually get a card of the AH. It's like getting 400 in 2ND place in Star tier we still don't get anything from it. So I don't see why lower tiers need to be changed. If they were grinding enough. resets in lower tier are much easier.

Frankly, I don't see the need for giving credits at all. If they did away with the 20 credit listing fee, there would be zero reason to give away credits in the first place. The only reason people asked for credits was because nobody could list anything. They claimed that the listing fee would keep people from cluttering the AH with crap, but isn't the fact that you can only list 5 items at a time and they stay there for 12 hours unless they sell already doing that? Now, cutting rewards in half (or worse) is not offset by credits. What they've done is invalidate seasons. People are either a) dropping out in QF, or b) dropping down a tier with a superior lineup and blocking lower tiers from winning seasons. Clearly what they decided to do isn't working. If they removed the listing fee and returned season rewards to what they previously were, I think we'd all be good with that, right?

Is there a better process for getting a card restored? I used the in game e-mail to request a restore, have never done this before and am under the impression you only get to use this once. It has been 6 days since I've submitted a ticket and haven't heard anything, no auto-reply e-mail nothing. I am getting worried to say the least.

I agree 100% I was already pointing out that the 20 credits posting fee wasn't needed because of the max 5 auctions at a time to prevent spam auctions when I read about it before AH beta came out. And was hoping that was one of the changes they implemented for final AH.

You of all people should get it Bane. Who among the most dedicated and high spending names around here was asking for credits? Nobody.

The listing fee exists to create the supposed "demand" for credits, to justify the huge nerf to rewards.

With playoff tier coming, anyone who isn't already at Star++ is condemned to be stuck progressing extremely slow in the free lane.

The entire thing was about getting more free to paying conversions, and they are betting that people who have already spent will feel the pressure of prior investment and keep putting money in.

They are like Big Tobacco. They understand how addiction works. They understand how compulsion works. They are leveraging it to the max. You know this, don't you?

Unfortunately, that's not necessarily how it works. You'll always have pay-to-play players that will spend big bucks no matter what. Then, you'll also always have free-to-play players that won't every spend a dime. What you're looking to attract is everyone else in the middle. In order to get them, you need to provide a good product and you need them to feel like they get some value for their dollar. If they aren't getting value, they simply won't spend. If they are, they'll open up their wallets.

I'm a "whale" in that middle group. If I am satisfied, I'll spend big. $100 per card with 63 cards and no way to reliably make pro versions is not quite the worst possible system I can imagine, but it's close.

Thankfully I should be in Star seasons after my current Leg season finishes, and I can just collect my Star card from the QFs every 4 days and in another month or so I should be in good enough shape to enjoy the game without paying them any more money.
