I spent 105k on 3 hours of double picks plus 800 credits on keeping and-1 up for the duration of 3 hour good agent. I started with 24 picks stacked. After grinding non stop for 3 hours, my entire team and I got 0 star contracts. How the heck can @nwgamedad and his team of greedy devs do this to us? We spent 4 days grinding to reach top 10 and get good agent perk. Good agent was the only perk that was really worth the grind and now it's completely nerf ed into uselessness. CD shows us how little it cares for it's customers on a consistent basis. Why do we play this game and support this company's horrible parasitic practices?

If all you grinded for was just the Star contract perk, thats kinda silly to begin with, imo.
15k points (or however much it was) to get 2hrs of "chance" at star contracts!?
These team perk were added in bonus rewards, the first few RC and RttC didnt even have these perks, and people were just grinding for the RC/RttC card.


If they really nerfed the drop rate thats a douche move. But they will never admit to that.


I feel they never anticipated that users would actually start valueing the Team Perks over a RC player card.


But honestly all a Star contract does is replace one Wild Card. I know some people have bad streaks when trying to get WC from the packs. But lots of people still pull WC every 5-10 packs (myself included).
So a star contract saves you maybe 25-75k in RP?
It beats me why anybody would invest tons of RP in hot streaks and then again RP and Credits for and-one and pick doubler. It just doesnt make any sense to me.


And no-one even knows if these Star contracts will be usable when a next tier is released.

Did you think we were grinding for a useless Jordan card that will be irrelevant in a week or two? Star contracts cost credits so there's nothing silly about grinding for them because they're worth it. Anyone can see star contracts are far more valuable than an RC card which will be second rate I mean it already is second rate to D Wade and he was actually much easier to get.

So what you are saying is we shouldn't care that exciting promised content turns out to be useless because it wasn't in the game to start?

My team has had good agent all 3 times it's been available. The 1st 2 times the members of our team averaged about 1 star contract per hour. Now we all get nothing even with and 1 and double picks active. It's obvious CD nerfed the perk. Just read the testominals listed in the several threads and tweets popping up. No, this is just another example of CD screwing over its own customers. You should be upset too, but maybe you aren't on a dedicated team willing to put in the time and resources needed to place in the top 25. But if I were you, I would still be offended at @NWGameDad and CD devs' horrible practices on display again.

I tallied in 8.8k points to get the RC Jordan. And on my team only 2 others did as well, the rest didnt score over a 2k points a piece (10 under 1k).
Am i mad i didnt get the Star contract perk, no not really.


I guess you didnt read what i said. CD never saw these Team Perks as main content, just as an added bonus.
The fact that after 2 events people with 25+ Leg pros did start to see the Star contract perk as the main target has caught them by surprise i guess. Should they have anticipated this, probably yes.
But heck maybe they already know Star Contracts and WC will be useless next tier, and they never thought people would start hoarding them for that reason.


The point i was trying to make is that you are overvalueing the Star contracts. Because you can use a veteran contract to make a pro as well. Only difference is that it costs you an extra WC.
But if you need 15k points in RC, and spent say like 100k in HS and another 100k in pick doubler and even 800 credits for and-one, wouldnt it be smarter to just get that extra WC for only a fraction of the RP? (and no time invested)

RC Jordan was created useless because it was made weaker than D Wade.
You clearly don't know what the good agent perk was like when they first released it. The advertisement was that star contracts would fall like veteran contracts and veterans like rookie contracts. Everyone knows those cards were dropping very often previous to the good agent perk. I could have had easily over 100 vet contracts at any time. So your acting like we're all upset about losing out on 1 star contract. No, we are upset because they were practically guaranteed, and you would get 4-5 of them. some people got 8-9 star contracts (which is fair because its based on your grind efforts) that is a huge chunk of work and time given back to the fans who earned that perk. Wild Card=Any card of any tier, to think a wild card wouldn't be useful star tier or that star contracts wouldn't be useful for star tier is absurd. For those of us who play this game seriously and have already conquered the legendary tier, i think its fair they get a leg up in next tier, I mean cash daddy is all about loyalty rewards right?

THE TICKER- this weird excuse of they didn't expect the bonus content to become main content, does not take from the fact that they advertised the bonus content and it doesn't actually exist, are we just excepting the fact that these guys will lie and tell us to get over it. if you add something to the game that fans like then you should improve on it NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!! if the fans don't like it, you remove it, its very simple.

but yeah bro your math is all off, and you def missed the benefit of the star contract, plus its not really about the STAR CONTRACTS its about the PRINCIPLE lol

CD pumped us up with new team content. They made a huge deal here on the forums and on twitter about how excited they were about the content. For 2 events the content worked as advertised. Then, they made that content completely useless on the third event. That, sir, is a classic bait and switch move. Just because you weren't able to directly feel this obvious nerf, doesn't mean it still isn't a deception from the devs illustrating a prominent attitude towards the value of their customer's time and resources. Did I grind RC just to get good agent? Hell no, I got my MJ by scoring 8k points but I was promised useful other content by @NWGamedad in numerous posts. He has even commented on drop rates in other threads. What happened to my team and most of the others flies in direct conflict to what was stated by @NWGameDad. You sir, are minimizing the fact that this obvious stealth nerf is still another example of screwing customers over for more profits. But I guess we should all just grab our ankles and be happy because you don't mind it.

So if only 3 people on your team got Jordan of course you won't be bothered by this issue because you weren't even close to getting it. However take our team for example we had around 4 people score 15k+ and the rest in the 8.5k range to get Jordan and finish 7th(or 8th can't remember) as a team and after all that grinding it's a big slap in the face to receive basically a broken perk which hasn't helped any of us in any way. But I guess we should be grateful for foiler alert because that is a fantastic perk.

We had a guy on our team (Paton I believe) who pulled zero star contracts and he had over 16k points and was instrumental in acquiring the good agent perk. In hindsight I actually did well pulling 3 Star contracts off the board on Monday but while playing at the time, all I could think of was "is that it" ? This was from hearing stories of guys pulling 6 - 7 contracts easy in 2 hours. I had over 20k points so I definitely would've been pissed had I pulled none, so I do understand the feeling. Unfortunately I have no past experience to base whether they nerfed star contracts or not, but knowing CD and their logic, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I can't remember the entire team total (maybe 14 or 15) but quite a few guys only pulled 1. Two or three guys had none. I know Rodge pulled 5 and of course I myself had 3.

I wonder. Did you guys use good agent before the change that made ability cards more powerful? I believe that is when the stealth nerf took place. We used good agent on Tuesday after that change was made.

I don't know when the change came about but we used our 2hrs @ 9am eastern time on Monday if that helps.

Then it does sound like it was possibly nerfed. It also sounds like this might have not been the first time it was nerfed either. I can't imagine an entire team pulling a grand total of zero star contracts.

Nah it wasn't the first time. At the very start when this perk was introduced people were pulling stars at the same rate as you would vet contracts how CD said it would work. Then they nerfed it to a somewhat reasonable rate still where you could pull 2-3 in 2 hours and now they've done this.
