Well it was worth a shot 2600 brp.

Just want to go on the record. My guess is next month btc cards will have stats that reach 9k and will be guys like MJ, Kobe, Shaq, etc., Weird how they're getting people to empty their points now on this sale.

If they raise points back too high, people will go back to not playing.

I have a feeling that part of the reason they did this 2 week trial of reduced recipe prices is to see how it would effect the AH economy for the recipe requirements. It definitely added a lot of value for those cards.

What they'll probably realize is that this lower recipe price is actually more beneficial to the game. The ability to use a recipe not only depends on the accumulation of BTP but also RP for buying cards you haven't drafted and enhancements from the daily picker. Add the need to supply cards for increasing the drop rates and it's already a formidable task even with the right amount of BTP.

With their last BTC update they enabled the ability to use credits in exchange for recipe items you may not have (another source of revenue). Many people including myself would rather spend the 250 or 500 for the 1 or 2 cards they don't have to use a recipe (you can easily burn through more credits than that just playing the daily picker lottery).

So in summary these lower prices bring life to the auction house and increase the chances for players to spend real money to complete a recipe since they'll have enough BTP more often. The fact that BTC recipes only give you a chance and not a guarantee for the best cards in the game makes sure the market isn't flooded with these cards.

Players enjoy the benefit of lower recipe prices, CD comes up looking like they're doing players a favor, but not while benefiting from the changes themselves. Basically a win/win.

Maybe all that was just the bigger plan to get rid of all those saved up Wild Cards (Hello Mr. Bron / BTC-rewards / multiple PO singles without any value), RP (Hello Mr. Leonard) and Credits (Again Bron, Leonard and BTC).
And then in a week or two they will release a new tier - stats around 10k and mostly obtainable on credits or in events where you need to get rid of your life

That plan would have actually worked Hopefully at least the prices for POs will go up a bit in the AH

But at the moment PO singles can be bought at 25k BIN. And still they are laying around in the market for hours

True, I should have clarified that it brings life to the auction house for specific cards (recipe requirements). The prices people are setting and getting for these cards can be unheard of (100k d.rose???).
