I'm anticipating that most of the heavyweights won't be playing this RC so the numbers shouldn't be too crazy. I'm going to sit it out but I'm interested what the numbers are going to be like.

I'm also wondering if this might be a test of some sort and see if it's something they might use more down the line

This is definitely a test run for something. I see this as the future of RC. I think they'll have a new weekend event for the next year's app to replace this one.

Played Road to the Championship for the first time over the past week-end. It didn't make sense to me. Only made through the first card. On second card, I was only able to win against the +2 opponent. I stopped after about 20 points. The Epic tier card didn't seem worth the time investment. Am I missing something?

If you have a weak RTTC lineup then yes it will seem useless. You would want to use RC events to help improve your lineup.

Personally, I like playing RTTC because of the 8 picks per win plus I can play at my own pace and I'm not feeling like I have to grind like a maniac to keep pace like you have to for RC. So even though I'm at the point where only the last card in RTTC can help my lineup, I still like to play it.

RttC is designed to encourage you to build up your deck... so you will only go as far as the strength of your 25 card deck will take you.

It used to be easy to get an event card from having a good deck... now its too much of a time commitment.

Losing interest in events as a whole with how much time they take from that life thing.

i agree ... i have not participated in the last rttc, and i havent done an RC in ages. too much time and effort for me as well.

We know the chances of CD doing that are extremely low, especially w/ Kobe/Shaq in the mix.
If the lakers open up hot I may be gunning for Kobe. Have yet to get a true Spro SG, while most of my resets have been PGs or Centers (just pulled a second DeAndre Jordan last night)
