If you don't have a sufficient amount of RP then you might have converted your credits into RP to pay for the HS

Has anyone done this outside of the normal 100 credits to 1000 Rp ratio. As I'm only missing 56 credits.

Yea it happens outside of that screen when you don't have enough RP. It will ask you if you want to convert the necessary credits over to RP for the remaining balance.

Finished the RC at Rank 296.

You gotta stay strong! I played sparingly myself. I was never a big fan of RC anyway.

So with the mod intervention, teams requiring alternate chat, and NBA Live app...OS for MyNBA2k is effectively dead it appears.

It was real, it was fun...but it wasn't real fun.

Can you give me a little more detail on what you mean by this? I'm confused how closing that thread could have a negative affect and definitely didn't intend for any negative affect.

Load times in that thread were getting incredibly long for that thread on a PC.

The killing of that thread to me just felt like the last little nudge this forum needed. I'm not saying it's dead, it's just far far less active than it used to be. That whole thread was nostalgia for many of us. People used to track their post counts on that thread alone. It was the "in game chat" for this app.

With the changes to the game this year, this forum has become just a place to complain. It used to be a place to trade. While people may chat offline, they would come here to make trades and sales, etc. The changes to the structure of the game took that away from us. In addition it seems like CD has turned more towards a model that incites revenue vs making their game more enjoyable. So that also has made this just a giant breeding ground for CD criticism. In turn, the mods of this forum have become more active/defensive. They are forced to defend their VIP members. And the normal members, the meat of your user base, feels as if we can't express ourselves with out getting the ban hammer potentially.

But honestly, the biggest reason by far is simple the addition of Teams into the app. People are forced to communicate effectively. And to do this you need a real chat program. Line, Hangouts, WhatsApp, etc... Everyone talks to their team and occasionally now posts here.

It's kind of a shame because this was the go to place to learn about the game. Any new player could come here and have a community. A new player isn't going to have access to our team chats. So who knows what long term affect this could have. There is the "other" forum but that one has always been far less active.
