MyTeam Mobile Discussion: Part 2 (Please Read the First Post Before Posting)

Interestingly that current player-turned-coach is a lot longer, but definitely Doc Rivers is the only one with player card (UR with Hawks) that isn't in Skybox... maybe CD will see this and add shortly...
Sigh... as predicted, Kidd bypassed 1.2M mark within hours of post with RC on horizon...

Probably by someone like Mas who has been botting and has an insane amount of RP that they didn't earn, keeping the honest/free players from ever getting a chance at a POG.

I'm a bit confused by the hornicek card in skybox. Why would they even bother putting it up? Since skybox can only be accessed from winning a PO season, what use could anyone who would qualify for said season have for an UR card?

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion: Part 2 (Please Read the First Post Before Posting)
Hey guys,
Just wanted to give my side of the story a little.
So i played all of 2k15 legit, spent hours on end grinding, spent over $5k easily on the game and was I think one of the top players, now we all knew there was some cheating going on but I always gave CD the benefit here and thought he was doing all he could do to clean the game (boy was I wrong and ill get into that a little later).
2k16 comes along and brings in the team element, so I was recruited by a bunch of the top players and bought into the "inner circle" i guess you could call it.
Soon enough i find out the extent of the cheating in this game which really pissed me off, in 2k15 there were speed hackers (speed the game up to 30x faster), there were people who could adjust the scores in games to win say an RTTC with common LU's and of coarse the botting. All of this was new to me and I felt ripped off I guess as I had spent a lot of money but more importantly time on a game that was compromised. Imagine being able to finish an RTTC and sell the cards on multiple accounts with common LU's, buying them Greats or that Jordan pack wouldn't be an issue at all.
So in 2k16 I told myself I would not allow this to happen again and decided to cheat/bot/hack anyway possible. I know not all would agree but a lot will know where im coming from and would do the same.
CD has become this greedy company who discard their customers time and time again, everything and anything they do is solely about money, the mindset or company goal is to achieve as much revenue as possible, they can try defend this but we are not stupid. Just take a step back and think about everything they do.
They will say we are a company and need to make revenue....bla bla bla. But there is a right way of doing this and then the CD way of take it or shove it approach. Don't like it? tough luck.
Think of the game a little at its current state:
* Greats - Spend 6500 credits for a chance? Better than any other card in the game (BT aside) so obviously they are pushing for sales here by limiting all other modes of the game.
* Seasons - Used to be the reason why most wanted to improve their decks, now it gets to a point where your winning rewards that dont make your LU.
* RTTC - Used to be a nice relaxed event that you could finish, now its a blatant cash grab
* RC - Days of mindless tapping to get a card that's worse than the Greats, BT, RTTC cards, but because it doesn't cost money and only time they wont improve the rewards.
* BT - Weeks of hard core grinding for a chance at a card, 30% chance. Anyone who has played this mode and saved the 27k and gotten a star can tell you how they feel about this mode. I do think with some adjustment it can be the centerpiece of the game, has huge potential.
Anyway I just hope that CD might someday but their customers first, think about what they want as much as how you will make money. Yes its a business and you need to grow but there are ways of doing that with your customers in mind.__________________

I can totally relate what you are saying. I also spent quite a lot this and last edition. I will most likely not play the next edition. I wish more people can read this and stop playing but I doubt. Seriously doubt. We are too small to inflict any damage to CD. Good luck to all anyway.

I bumped the bid up for a reason though. Hopefully this way it will remind me that the auction is out there and I won't forget about it like I did when the Curry Great card was on Skybox.Comment

I know it will. Just pointing out though that not everyone with alot of RP is a botter.

Good luck. Maybe you'll get lucky.

I honestly doubt, that we will see great chances in the next years edition.
To me, it doesn't seems like Danan is really understanding at what we are trying to point. His responses are sometimes really annoying - I mean I get the point that they cannot fulfill everybody dreams and that they have to earn some money. But they are heading more and more to pay to win.
I would be really interested in some KPI´s - like amount of active players and stuff like that. My feeling is, that we had way more than we have in 2k16.
But honestly, in nearly all game modes you have to spend money or you get ridiculous rewards (and whatever Danan is trying to tell us - a HoF Star will never ever be a great reward in a PO season - You won't pro it, even if it may be in your TOP 25 card, and if you have that one or a common card as replacment doesn't matter)Comment

The problem CD faces is that many in the community don't want to accept the fact that anything that makes it easier for free players to progress and get better just makes it exponentially easier for paying players as well. So CD now must make a decision for next year. Make many mad but do the right thing to make the game better, or continue the path they started since the beginning of this app and just make things worse.
And couldn't agree more about season rewards. 2nd round exit should give more than training fodder.Comment
