And that is the last straw to quit this game. An app you spend time, energy, and money. And it is replaced every year. No loyalty rewards to carry over???. I'm sure they did some analysis and will not hurt there bottom line. But eventually this app will go as the dodo.... if it wasn't for being attached to the console . Forget about it. ..... I'm an glad to have meet some great peeps thru this app. And will continue to. But my time, energy, and money will not be spent on this app at all... they way the business is run help me kick it. I know for some it has bee relatable to an addiction. The community made me stay. But game had became too much of _____.

Just don't play until April 2017. Then in 2 weeks you can catch up to everyone else. Worked for Kolson!

Of all the things that they needed to remove from this app, loyalty rewards was at the bottom. I don't see why it had to go unless it was a situation where they didn't know how to properly reward players.

So do I. I bought Madden so I'm playing that on the console. I also still play MLB the show. I actually think I might play the MyTeam on NBA2K17 more this year and stay away from the app as much as possible

This is the truest thing.

In mynba2k15 I played around 35k games and got 16 playoff pros. In mynba2k16 I played around 12000 and got 20.

I actually didn't start until mid may. I didn't have to go through the pain of grinding out legendary and star tier. I started once playoff tier was in full effect and reached playoff++ in less than 2 weeks... from mid may to early July I got 20 playoff pros in around 10000 games..

This is my new strategy for games like this. An example is madden mobile. I've been playing but not buying anything off the auction house because prices are sky high. Instead I'll wait a couple months and buy elites (if you dont know madden think playoff cards) for the same price as golds are going now (legendary/star cards).

Not playing the first couple months works perfectly for mynba. There is literally no point in grinding out legendary/star tiers because you can get to the highest tier in the game in 2 weeks.

This easy way of progression has always been, in my opinion, one of the worst things about mynba. Last year with all playoff events and this year with wild cards a player just starting can EASILY get to playoff tier in a week or two. Along with being able to buy cards and getting to the top tiers without playing a game this pretty much screws all the players that played since day 1 and have grinded out 20k-30k+ games in the legendary and star tiers.

I feel progression should be harder to both extend the shelf life of the game and to properly reward those that have spent the time playing. Someone that has played 40000 games should always have a better team than someone who has played 5000.

My story exactly. Except i had 30k wins and 45+ PO pros at some point. I never got an RC card and I didn't finish any RTTCs until PO tier though but that didn't affect me in any way in the long run.

Unfortunately I did it all. I grinded during the RCs and RTTCs since the beginning. Mainly because of the team aspect and chasing those Good Agent perks (don't get me started on how those)
