Is it me, or is NHL Supercard a lot like this app a few years ago when it used to be better? It has 1 currency used for all packs, the same look as the 2k15 era and you only need 2 cards to pro.

I have a feeling I will like this.

It is just missing an AH, the only way to get credit now is to purchase them.

It definitely rewards grinders this time around.

the star contract has replaced wild card as the most powerful card in the game. not sure how in the world im going to get leg pros and higher considering resets are close to 200 (leg ++), and competition in leg seasons is tough, and you dont even get a leg card unless you reach the 3rd round of the playoffs.

i guess the pro is that lower level cards are more relevant... URs are still relevant to me as they can still be used in my season and RttC deck.

The main difference is that wild cards last app were able to be obtained with RP and luck through extras packs. Star contracts only through credits or being an elite team.

Can you obtain Star contract with credit? I thought the only way this year so far is via the GA perk from event.

Edit: never mind, the costlier packs do have them.

I see now that I've made a huge mistake with pro cards. I used the one where you only need 1 other on a card where I had 3. So know I have 2 of like 3 different people in SR and a extra card on the one I upgraded to pro.

Hello guys!

You probably don't know me, as I didn't post that much back in the days of NBA2K15, but I shockingly know some of you. Hard to believe you're still around. :-)

Actually I like this year's app. Due to missing wildcards progress is considerably slower than in '15, which is a good thing. And I just won my first UR season in game 7 - made my heart bump. What can else can you expect from a tiny little game like this? ;-)

AH also seems somewhat balanced. The fact that only real money people can sell keeps the offers overseeable.

And to be honest: Although I have some sentimental feelings about the brutal RC grinds of the past, I don't want these times back. Keep it nice and slow this time.

This suggestion might be completely selfish, but with the no wild cards and difficulty getting a star contract it would be nice to be able to auction event cards that aren't draftable.

Not being able to draft the cards would control the market from saturation while creating a space for a luxury market in AH.

It would give people who want to pro event cards an opportunity to do so outside of star contracts and also an incentive to play events even if you don't need the card (high resell value).

Maybe limit those able to auction them to skybox members? And have skybox be the venue in which event cards can be bid on?

What event cards? All I've seen (from the 2 RttCs) are normal cards being used..

Maybe to the naked eye. Check the AH for legendary Spurs cards. Tony Parker doesn't exist. Also the KAT from the previous RttC looks the same but stats, position (PF/C vs C) and pose (dribbling vs shooting) are different.

Not at this time at least since the most expensive pack you can buy is the deluxe+ foil which only gives you a legendary MVP.

The event cards (although they don't have the usual art we're used to) are stronger than the MVPs. My fully trained 2 spec RttC KAT is 60 points higher than my fully trained foil MVP Oscar Robertson.
