Check out the video in my last reply. No need for motioninjoy with this method.

That's just another method for the same result. I've never had issues with Motioninjoy's DS3 Tool, and it's really easy to setup. If I ever have issues with Motioninjoy I'll be sure to try that one out, but as of right now I have no need for it.

The difference is that you don't need to run an application every time you want to use your controller. If you want to use DS3 tool which doesn't take a trained eye to see that it's a sloppy program then that's a personal choice I suppose.

Yea I use to use motionjoy. It found it annoying over time. Since it always opened up a webpage when I opened the motion joy app. Also it needs a internet connection to work I guess to show their built in ads. I switched to the non app required drivers and preferred that. However I recently did try better DS3 app/driver and also liked it. Better DS3 is what im using now. I set it up to boot with windows minimized in my system tray so when I plug in the PS3 control it works instantly. I personally don't mind the app running in the background and its nice to have some button mapping options if I ever need it.

I will say this about motionjoy. It did have a nice feature that let you button map your PS3 controller to act like a mouse/keyboard. A mouse on a laptop I have doesn't work very well. So I would sometimes just use the PS3 controller as a wireless mouse on it with some keyboard keys. It also worked pretty well for when I plugged the laptop into a tv with HDMI.

Use the method in the video I linked. I just tried it and it works. Not sure if it was necessary but just telling you what I know.

Nah with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8 you don't need the DS3 Tool. They actually have a DS4 Tool I believe but you don't need either of them if you follow the guide in the video. Again...You'll probably be fine using DS4 Tool. I'm just showing my preferred method because you don't ever need to run the tool again.

                          Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements

Alright so I'm up and running, I can run the game so good times.

                          I'm running it at
                          Resolution: 1920x1080
                          Anti-aliasing :2
                          Texture detail: high
                          Crowd detail: high
                          Special effects: on
                          Shader detail: high

I don't think I'm getting a solid 60fps (this is a guesstimate) but definitely above 30. So overall I'm happy.

                          Again I'm running on
                          Amd fx6100
                          Radeon 6850
                          8gb ram
                          250gb ssd(2k15 is on this)
                          500gb wd caviar blue hdd

                              Is it smooth or choppy?

Smooth during gameplay a little choppy during cutscenes....Vram doesn't seem to be a problem.

1080 with 4 anti aliasing at 16 times quality seems to run at 60fps and is super smooth pretty much at all times

@1440 camera view matters but its still smooth and at 60fps during gameplay.

                                definitely need a sli profile
