Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
i5 4670k @4.4GHz
7950 3GB @ Stock (14.4 drivers)
16GB DDR3
Win 8.1
All settings maxed, playing at 1080p. Gameplay averages around 60-65FPS, lowers during cutscenes. Wish there was a benchmark this year. Have had 2 crashes(red screen), one while playing the other while scanning the menus. May be related to overclock, I'll check to make sure but I have a hunch it's driver related. Game seems pretty intensive. If you're not sure you'll be able to run it well, you probably won't.PS: You guys are great.

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
I havent bought a "next gen" game for my laptop yet.
This is my laptop should i be able to run it?
This feature-filled midsize gaming laptop has almost everything you'd want, except for a touch screen.
Currently have this downloading so i can play it tomorrow but I probably should have asked this before i bought it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
How much dip are you getting at the cutscenes? Mine seems to typically get into the mid 40s, but I've had a couple dips as low as 26-28. Thankfully, the only times it's appeared choppy at all was during those few really low dips.

Same. Typically 40-50s have seen it go to the low 30s.
OT: Checked WhoCrashed and like I thought, my crashes do seem to be GPU driver related.Last edited by trobinson97; 10-07-2014, 02:58 AM.PS: You guys are great.

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
As expected I'm getting between 50-60fps(mostly towards 50) with textures on medium, 4x aa and special effects off. With it on it doesn't even hardly load. Can't wait to upgrade my gpu next month.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
Alright so I'm up and running, I can run the game so good times.
I'm running it at
Resolution: 1920x1080
Anti-aliasing :2
Texture detail: high
Crowd detail: high
Special effects: on
Shader detail: high
I don't think I'm getting a solid 60fps (this is a guesstimate) but definitely above 30. So overall I'm happy.
Again I'm running on
Amd fx6100
Radeon 6850
8gb ram
250gb ssd(2k15 is on this)
500gb wd caviar blue hdd
Also guys NBA2k always needed some tweaking from programs like RadeonPro. You can boost there your fps by forcing triple buffering (works like a charm on FIFA 15, 10-15fps boost there) and experiment in general with many other options. I remember always forcing vsync "always on" in RadeonPro with all previous versions of 2k. My game is still downloading so I need to check it myself.
I'll be around for anyone seeking technical help with NBA2k15. I will also check if there's a INI file created this year during the installation and see what we can do there also.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
SC GTX780 here I get the occasional framerate drops....put antialiasing quality to 0 and the camera cuts smoothened up a bit. Though there are odd times where it chops pretty badly during gameplay...
Man the CPU is hard on superstar...need to relearn some defensive stuff as LT+Turbo doesn't seem to work any more....Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
Same as most of you guys for my rig, as far as I can tell. 60 FPS gameplay, dips during cutscenes. Usually hangs around 30-45 but took a jarring nosedive to 15 one one of those wide-angle full court shots. This was with texture detail on high, btw. Might scale it back to medium if it helps the cutscenes. Anyone know what kind of settings the PS4/One uses?

Re: NBA 2K15 system requirements
Even with all settings at the minimum with 720p resolution I get occasional choppy gameplay along with audio crackling. I don't think they tested the minimum requirements properly. It's more like a 2GB minimum, I can't imagine what a 512MB card plays like.Comment
