Used the little Vsync trick and got it fairly stable. Man, this game is off the hook! Did Cavs vs. Warriors at their place. I loved the camera shake on free throws. It was almost to the point I couldn't see Shump's motion. And then they had Blatt, who looks MUCH better this year, talking about the NBA vs. the Euro game in the between quarters segment. I think the lip sync on that is better than the pregame. This game is the next great 2k title. The new 2k5. If they fix the bugs, this will be the best playing and best looking sports game ever. Well done guys. Bravo! Now fix them bugs!

I'm getting pretty bad performance considering my PC is on the high end side, I can play games like Witcher 3 and Grand Theft Auto 5 on maxed out settings V-synced to 60fps at 1440p, but I can't even get a steady 60 in 1080p in 2K16...


My PC scores in the 10% range on 3Dmark scores for you guys who know what that is, (meaning it's faster than 90% of the PC's tested) so I know for sure there's no issues with my hardware or software because I'm playing all these other much more graphically intensive games without a hitch, yet 2K16 is giving me anywhere between 30-60fps.
There's gotta be something to it, maybe game doesn't like Windows 10, or we might need a graphic driver update, seems like they added a lot of graphic options this year.

I was able to play all of yesterday (more than 8 hours)... Today though, when I got to 2k16, it goes to the main menu... Then if I choose any of the choices, the game crashes to desktop with no message...

Really weird how this bug is occurring now, even though I played for such a long time the day before...

Anyone got any solutions?

I have an i54670k at 4.4 and a 780, mid range these days I guess. Last year I was able to max the game no problem, this year not so much.

The crowd setting absolutely murders the frame rate. With the crowd off I get a buttery smooth 60fps with everything else on max. With it on low it stutters regardless of other settings. Please fix this 2K, I can't believe I'm back in this boat again. I assumed that last years stutter fix would be built into this game.

Tried out play with friends in the play now game mode on launch day very little lag. Then today it skips like crazy, the friend I'm playing with is on the same internet connection with separate computer. We only play like this because its a lot more fun when you can run plays and not see what each other is doing. It is pretty much unplayable today.

Had the very same thing happen to me this morning. Played 10 hours yesterday. I rebooted and that solved it for me; I ended up having to do it again about 7 hours later.

Had to say F it and bought the Xbox one version. Sucks that I'm out 60 bucks, but I was spending more time pissing around with settings than playing the game

Those weak side blocks are awesome. Nice to know that if you are beat off the dribble you don't have to switch over because your rim protector team mate will have your back. Playing as the Spurs I watched Duncan block a few of Steph Curry's lay up attempts.

Speaking of Curry, his handles is insane. Pretty hard to guard. Get too close and he will blow passed you. Sag off and he will pop a J in your face. I also like the different defensive assignments the CPU will do against you. I was killing Curry with Parker off the dribble, so the Warriors put Klay Thompson on me and at times they put Green on me to body me up on drives.

One can't help but think about Batman (on PC) where it pretty kept PC gamers waiting for months before it was rectified...... has me slightly concerned....


Be nice to have some sort of update as to when we may be able to see a patch (considering we've paid for a game we can't really play).......

No idea why they started as I have not changed as single setting. Always happen during play now games.

I am hoping to get a refund and roll with the console version.

Game runs really smooth above 70 frames with on 2560*1440 on maxed gfx settings with 4*MSAA and Sumpersampling * 3.
With Supersampling * 4 the frames drop to 1 or 2 and I had to delete the VideoSettings.cfg


Game Impressions:
- Blocking is fun, Rebounding is fun, have more impact on defense is great
- the game "feels" better than 2k15
- my career story is boring as f*ck
- playing a 7'3" Center and dominating the middle is really amazing


Can't wait to test the new modes

Shame I'm already past the point of no return for a refund because the game is pretty much unplayable right now. I just tried a game of domination in MyTeam and the game froze with two seconds to go in the match. These freezes lock me out of the desktop too so I can't alt+tab out and close the non responding program, nor can I close it from the task manager. I have to either log out or restart the computer. Out of 10 or so attempted games so far I've only been able to complete one, and in that one there was no commentary whatsoever.

This is pretty much unacceptable. 2K takes a major L here(for this plus other bugs on top of things like features on the console not available on the PC version) and so do I for buying it when everything in me was telling me to hold off. They(and I) won't have to worry about the latter happening from here on out though.
