I only get fps drops when inbounding the ball. It's very annoying.

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
I noticed drops during time-out sessions and whatnot when the camera zooms in closer to the players/coach. Not a big deal to me, gameplay is locked at 60. If I remember correctly, NBA2K14 on the PS4 was the same way.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
2k16 runs at 60 fps on high for me i could probably go up to ultra, but 2k17 barely runs at 40 fps on the lowest settings and god forbid i turn it up to medium. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?Comment

-Global Settings
-Preferred graphics processor: High-performance NVIDIA processor
-Program Settings
-Add NBA 2K17 as the program to customize
-Select the preferred graphics processor for this program: High-Performance NVIDIA processor
Dont forget to press "Apply" and you should be good to go.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
With an nvidia 670 I am getting 48-60 fps when last year I had constantly over 60. I will try different settings combinations and come back with the results.
I think the same was happening last year until a patch fixed the problem.
Please, 2K, do the same this year....Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
I have a 4670k overclocked to 4.4 and a single 780. Post patches I was able to play last year's game maxed out at 1080 locked at 60fps with cutscenes dipping much lower.
I played an hour or so of 2K17 last night and was very disappointed to see that the performance issues I was seeing pre patch last year are very much alive and well again. Maxed out the game plays at 60fps the majority of the time but dips into the mid 50s often enough to be very, very annoying. If I bump settings down to medium this is corrected but I don't love the look of the game at that setting.
Fingers crossed for the same patch that alleviated my issues last year.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
This took months last year to be able to optimize..... could be the case again for all we know.
Mine runs nicely anyhow (1440p). Curious is the crowd being flat at odd times is a PC only thing though......I read it was for previous versions.Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
The best solution i found for 1080p with my gtx 970 is to lower antialising from
8 to 4. Then game plays in 60fps. The problem is with over 1080p gaming, in 2k i get about 45-52 fpsComment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
Hi there !
It's the first time i got nba2k17 on PC, and it's hard to get good FPS stability.
In my career when i do training mod it runs perfectly, 60 FPS no problems but when i'm in game, it keeps going from 45 FPS to 55 FPS...
I tried many solutions to fix it, by configure the nvidia panel like for 2k16, change also the config list in Appdata and downgrade the graphics but no stability when i am playing a game. And it seems like the option graphics in game does not change consistently the FPS.
If someone have a solution ? Or maybe we need to wait a 2K patch
?
Thanks for helping guys
(i have got a GTX 960M).Comment

Re: NBA 2k17 PC Performance
Not for me.
Loud when they should be.
Quiet when they should be.
I feel the Lakers crowd is nice. They mirror the actual Lakers crowd which usually isn't overly loud unless something big happens. Played a game in Toronto and felt they were crazy for most of the game. But it was close so that may be why.
