I've spent hours modding the game on PC, that wasn't the issue. I would end up with a game visually perfect but then the gameplay wasn't there. Draft classes and rosters were still lacking.

Yeah... more to do with the NBA 2K PC community though, right? It's the exact same game, save for the people playing it. In that regard, the PC version is behind the console version. I especially miss having Infamous' NCAA roster, but other than that, for what it's worth, i enjoy the PC version's advantages

Would a SurfaceBook 2 be able to play this?

Re: is the pc version worth getting ?

Greetings OS Fam and fellow 2K PC gamers... i'm relatively new in the 2K PC side of things, but have been playing 2K avidly since Dreamcast. Been playing 2K on PS4 since 2K14...

I've been enjoying the Mods, most especially of the players.. have a noob question though: how do i assign mods for unscanned players? DL'd mods for guys like the Kings' Bogdanovic, Furkan Korkmaz, Brandon Paul, etc. but everytime the game loads up, the modded cyberfaces don't take effect and it's still the same created faces...

Any help/feedback would be much appreciated

You have to download liminono trainer I know I'm spelling it wrong. You have to assigned those players a cyberface ID. Head over to youtube a dude name Tgsogood aka the goods on YouTube has a tutorial. It pretty easy.

Did that man... working like a charm so far, thanks!

Have another question though... regarding mods for courts, dornas, etc. When i DL a court/arena mod, do i paste the files into the "Modded" folder, or do i have to have a "Courts" subfolder within the Modded folder for it to work? (Similar to how clothing mods have to be within a "Clothing" subfolder)

Naw just drop the courts in the modded folder and you should be good to go.

I enjoy playing on PC. Just wish there were more rosters and draft classes to download.

I’m inching closer and closer to making the jump to pc gaming. My fear of the unknown and 4K hdr gaming from ps4 and Xbox one made me hesitate but reading this thread and YouTube is winning me over. I don’t play ppl online and love the realism the mods can bring to the game. This thread has been a lot of help thanks. Just one question I’m figuring hdr isn’t available for pc as of yet so how likely or soon you guys think that’ll change? How expensive is a graphics card that does 4K pc gaming?

The most powerful (hence expensive) graphics cards here in the PI cost about 700 USD on average. That'd be powerful enough for 4K graphics for sure.

My graphics card isn't as powerful or as expensive, but i can run the game on HD (1920x1200) and it looks beautiful, especially with Mods...

Just so you know, graphics card prices are absolutely ridiculous right now due to the cryptocurrency craze. This isn't exactly the best time to get into PC gaming unless you want to spend a LOT of money.

Then again, who knows when it will die down....you might be waiting a long time.

True this. But if you don't mind going HD instead of 4K, then the costs aren't gonna be crazy.

My current set-up cost about 1000 USD, inclusive of an HD screen...

Thanks for the info guys. I might give one more year of Madden and 2k on the Xbox one to see how enhanced it looks if they at least narrow the closeness is fidelity that pc has and to hopefully wait out the rise in graphics card prices you guys are talking about.

I'm just a novice at pc gaming and how to do everything I've watched some how to videos it doesn't look that difficult but it's still a far cry from insert disc and play

Yeah.. but using mods is hella easy man, basically copy-paste... and the graphical improvements are crazy!

Watch The Goods' vids on Youtube. He's a fellow OSer and his page's content showcases alot of what 2K PC is about
