You guys DO know the 10-man motion capture is the reason for the bad graphics right?

The 10-man motion capture eats away ALOT of the cpu while playing..they had to sacrifice alot of detail in players in order to handle all the animation going on at the same time....scripted animation sequences take alot of processing power. EA could definately do better player models if 10 man mo cap didnt exist....would u guys rather do without it?

give me a break.. live 2003 was the first year with it, i think... Just look at nbalive 2002 and 2001 and compare it to OTHER games (2k)... its always been below PAR.

THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE AUTHENTIC STADUMS until 2003, the YEAR with the new mocap... how does that make sense????

The graphics are fine with me. Not great but hey the gameplay is what I really liked lasy year. They might ruin the game for some posters but it didn't bother me not one bit.

After seeing the game today on ESPN NEWS I'm even more convinced that Live will be a good game. Maybe some guy's get caught up into graphics as if it's the #1 priority but gamaplay is what I need to be very solid. I don't expect any of EA's games to play great right out of the box. So, I'll just do what I usually do and that's create Sliders to make the gameplay even better for ME!

That's all that really counts for me. I don't care about faces, tatoos's, or sneakers. Give me 10 guy's on the court and make the gameplay addictive and I'll handle the rest on my own. That's what Live did last year for me it made the gameplay addictive and the animations were pretty good. The players might not have been perfect but I could tell who was Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry so it didn't bother me at all that it wasn't 100% perfect.

The sooner guy's realize it's a video game and not real life the better the games become.....try to make them something their not and I guess you'll never be HAPPY.

I agree with you there....for some reason the graphics don't bother me as much in Live as in say, Madden. It's mainly b/c Live is loaded w/ soo many animations.

lol.....Live fans kill me....they are sill in denial....u got some that think the graphics look great, now you got people making excuses for the bad graphics

the game might be great....NBA 2k6 might suck.......we will have to buy the games to tell.....but the graphics will always suck in Live....and we seen enough videos and screens to tell that......you cant judge a book by its cover.....but you can sure judge the cover....and Live has some ugly graphics compared to xbox/ps2 games......thats a fact

I agree.. as with nba2k, I think both games will be great.

All the problems (big and small) from last years games seemed fixed. mainly fastbreaks, blocking, playcalling, and teams playing like their real life counterparts.

There are a lot of us who enjoy the graphics and most importantly the gameplay. The graphics seem better from previous versions.

First of all just because you said the graphics are bad doesn't mean WE have to agree with you. If you don't like the graphics then fine you don't like the graphics but you can't tell that man how to make his own decisions.

He likes the graphics that's his opinion not your's or anyone else. Why does it matter to you how he prefers a game to look?

That's like saying my girlfriend looks better than your girlfriend and I don't care what you say. Well get it correct buddy you have your preference and not everyone is going to like what you like whether it's a video game or a female. I don't think he's making a foolish statement over something that he's looking at in a game.

That's the problem now too many guy's or kids try to convince people what looks good and what doesn't. Take a 5 minute break and look at yourself in the mirror what do you see?

Now ask 5 different women what do they see and see if they all say the same thing about your looks. Three of them might think your the bomb and two might just think your butt ugly. But who's to say either side is wrong or foolish just because they don't see what you see.
