Yeah I see what you are saying...It just seems like they made a mistake on some of the tunnels...The tunnel at MSG is on the wrong side.

i dont really notice tunnel placement or like going out of my way to quote somebodies error, but.....

it just reminds me of friends bragging about their new knife set or a blender, and when i try it out, it breaks or doesnt do what its supposed to... yet he bragged days on end how great it is (and how great his friends set was who told him about it).. in a smaller context, to me what the producer was writting on about and then to see the end result, gave me alittle chuckle.


speaking of the Q&A, i liked what he said about the crowds. you can even notice them clap and stomp with the actual arena music... and then to have them anticipate standing and cheering for fastbreaks, is just great... thats what we do in real life, at basketball games. i love it

You're right about MSG though aaron. It's supposed to be on the bench/player's side but it's opposite. Here's a screenshot from another thread. I'm sure people will cancel their preorders because of it.

Right, only EA has already made guys like Nash in their games look like clay models with huge helmets.

Its like I said in another post, the short development cycle meant that companies REALLY had to pick and choose what they would accentuate and what they would leave to next year. So once again we will probably have two good games, that if combined together would make an outstanding game.

EA's seems to really be improving the atmospheric elements of their games, now they just have to shore up the gameplay/A.I.

One thing that has been missing from EA games has been the atmosphere and they finally seem to have it down with Madden and LIVE since it's been missing for a long time.

the arenas look nice, but it looks like a movie or something since it's so dark. It does not look like a real basketball game. If you ever been to a game, you know it's not dark like that, it is really bright in there.

^^MSG is dark as hell.
Only the court is lit up. The pic I saw of MSG was pretty much accurate as far as the lighting was concerned.

Can't speak for the other arenas though.

There were two points where he had a go at VC and 2K...

But there's also a few points he mentioned that I am skeptical about.

1. Sliding gone... it's still visible. Not as much, but it's still there and possibly hiding behind the slow motion animations.

2. New animations, built from the ground up type of talk... well that's strange considering at least 70% of the animations seen in the 360 video's are from previous Live versions.

3. Signature shots... yeah we've seen Marion in the video, but will there be many? Remember when they said there was 20+ specific shot animations for the 3 point comp and there was maybe 5 in the end?

Again, luckily there is a free playable demo available for 360 Hard drive/XBL users.
