I agree...and I am a 2K fan as well. I'm going to go with Live over 2K6 just to get a fresh feel again. (besides, got 2k6 on PS2). Then I'll get College Hoops 2K6 in January...which I will absolutely wear out!

I admire EA for "rebuilding" (for the most part) their games for next-gen. The floors, the crowd, the sound, the moving hair all look great. Granted the animations and jump shots might still need some tweeking, but hey...at least they put some signature shots in there!!! Next years titles should really shine, since they'll have time to improve and add everything they didn't have time to implement correctly this year!

SIM LIKE? LOL.. yes visually for once they got it right (of course how it plays still remains sto be seen and the camera angles as well)...but SIM Like?? Hmmmm...no franchise or dynasty mode? Play your season and thats it? Hmmm....doesnt sound sim like to me. I guess 2k6 will be my franchise game and Live will be my game I play when buds come over.

This is what i would like to know in the IGN review it says no dynasty mode but at the EB web site under the Live description it says it has a dynasty mode

i think Live looks great, but the gameplay vids i've seen make the gameplay seem sluggish... I'll stick with the free xbox live demo

It's a shame too, cuz aside from the Gorilla-esque arms (that look completely out of whack) the models in Live really look good!

I think they've kind of kept their enjoyment to themselves and not posted and that's kind of carried over to the next gen titles.

And there was something vastly different about 2004 and 2006. Something that I'm sure everyone here feels makes 2006 better and more enjoyable than 2004. So I believe everyone playing it now is having alot more fun than they did back then, so leave it alone.......

Every year I do the same stupid thing, I buy live, play it for like 2 weeks and then i trade it it on 2k6. Live is alot of fun, but 2k6 throws a good sim game at you.Well paying this much for a game, I am only going wwith one....and it is live....yes i love 2k6 for its sim quality....but i am buying the 360 for graphic's power and realize....just like when the ps2 came out..that the first year games are watered down versions............................and by the way i have been a memeber awhile now...but i never really post, but I read the h*** out of the post before i buy a game....so i do appreciate the members for that
