    Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

got soundly beaten on my home floor and am now down 3-1 and next game is at the cavs.
lebron dominated again with 33pts and 10rebs 14-20 fgs. only 1 assist though.
hughes and ilguaskas did their thing. but hughes threw up too many 3's. he is only a 42for 3's in my game and in the 60's for fgs. and his offaware is low 30's. so i dont know why he gets so shot happy from 3 land. 1-5.
wasnt all that enjoyable of a game. so tired of the cpu playing stupid quickshot ball and ingnoring plays etc. the programming of the tendencies is too limiting in live06. as a players behaviour is programmed more by position than attributes.
hopefully ea will give us tendency sliders for players like on 2k6.

Are they set up with these plays:

      Cavs Playbook-The Top 3 Plays
      Motion-9
      Inside Triangle-8
      Stagger-3

Because he attacks the rim more than shoot 3's when I play the Cavs. Also what is the Long Distance shooting slider set at in your game?

        Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

the cavs eliminated me in 5 games.
they went on a run in the 4th to pull away.
ilgauskas got mvp with 23pts and 14rebs., he dominated me. it was their big 3.
lebron had 31. hughes had 22. and gooden had 11pts and 10rebs. the stats were realistic as.
so since playing on superstar i have lost 4 games to 1.
the foul discrepancies can be annoying but as i said. u have to do the fouling yourself. besides. i actually got outrebounded in this game. which would never ever happen on allstar.
thinking of starting a season with my sonics now.
i have 2k6 to play, but am not inspired to play it at all, even though the cpu has superb tendencies in that game. i prefer the "user" gameplay on live.

          Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

started a new season with my sonics. signed my created self. [ a pg ] and want to lead the sonics to the title.
first game was the clips and brand came out on fire. scoring 8pts in the1st q. then he got in foul trouble and was a non factor from then on. finishing with 12pts and 7rebs. i got off to a good lead but lost it in the 4th from a mobley offensive barrage. he ended up with 28pts. my defense fell asleep. not a good start to teh season.

next up was the twolves. i realised my sliders were an old batch so i adjusted them.
kg was a beast most the game. he had some foul trouble late in the 3rd. he ended with 22pts and 14rebs. it was almost a carbon copy of the 1st game as i got off to a comfortable lead only to see it vanish in the 4th. banks played a great game and davis did most of his damage in the 4th q rally. the game went to ot but never should've. i missed too many clutch ft's and davis and hassell? both hit big desperation 3's in the last minute to tie it up. my created pg screwed up at the end of regulation to send it to o/t. from there i took over and quickly got an 8pt lead. only to see some more desperation shots by the twolves give me a scare. ended up winning by 4.
lewis had 33pts including a huge game deciding 3 off a catch and shoot.
          good game though.

            Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

beat the grizzlies at memphis in my first road game. 107-102.
ray allen got mvp with 26pts, 6rebs and 5assists but it was ridnour [off the bench]that was the man. he scored 16pts in the 4th. shot 5-7 3's and ended up beating them at the line. he ended up with 22pts and 5assists.
gasol had 13pts and 8rebs and 2assists. i doubled him a lot. battier threw up a bit too much and ended going 8-21. mike miller came off the bench with 21pts and lorenzon wright was a constant factor with 13pts and 10rebs.
i beat them with good shooting from downtown. 10-19.

              Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

hey nogster, pm and the rest of the nba fans here,
these game logs got me reinterested in live 360 again, so i dl the classic and global edits rosters and settings and started a season using the grizzlies. my second game into it i played the magic. and like everyone said, these edits, settings and playbooks make the game so much more realistic. the only tweaks i've made to the sliders are i took game speed to 55, lowered the shooting difficulty to 0 since i can't hit a ft to save my life, and that's about it. my lineup is as follows: C- Channing Frye, PF - Pau Gasol, SF - Mike Miller, SG - Pete Taylor (my CAP with an ovr of 80) and PG - Deron Williams, all via trades made with AI trade refusal on.

anyway, the game went back and forth with me enjoying a 5 pt lead at half. everyone was getting involved with Deron taking it to the hole and scoring 8points on 3 / 7 shooting. Pau got into foul trouble, and only had 4 pts. at half. my CAP had 13 points on 3/5 3 pt shooting, 1 2 pt fg, and 2/2 fts. other notable contributions include Chris Andersen (acquired via trade as well) who had 5 pts. 2 blks, and 5 rebs; Mike Miller had a good half too, he hit 4 baskets, made 1 blk (LOL), and played good d on Grant Hill. I think the score was like 41 to 36.

at the start of the second half, things looked pretty good, until i lost Deshawn Stevenson on a tight curl that freed him up for an open J. from then on, he hit on 7 of 11 shots and led the break a couple of times. Jameer Nelson wasn't a factor scoring, but he played good defense, and had 8 assists. the game was so exciting, especially when i went on a run late in the 4th and drew within 4 pts. but Dwight Howard, who had been on the bench for most of the 2nd half in foul trouble, came off the bench to block 3 shots, grab a few key offensive and defensive rebounds and continued to stymie Pau. Tony Battie was great defensively, and even had a big time rebound and putback with about 1:30 left. i got as close as 4, but couldn't hit any jumpers, and they kept my 3 pt shooters from getting anywhere near the ball. so in the end i lost 86 to 80. fg% for Mem was 44%, while ORL shot 37% (the only slightly odd stat of the bunch), they hit on 24 of 32 fts, had 10 fast break points, 43 total boards, i think they had 3 offensive boards, and committed 12 turnovers. i had 49 boards, (7 offensive), hit on 18 of 27 ft, committed too may (18) turnovers. the thing about the game that i really liked was the frequency of turnovers, with my bigs committing most being committed by CPU controlled players ( i only committed 6 fouls among the 3 players i controlled. i also like the fact that the CPU would swipe at the ball and steal it on occasion if i just stood there dribbling the ball; they also intercepted a few ill advised cross court passes and started the break. the crowd atmosphere, and the clear High Def picture and sound (i play on a pj with a 11' W X 7' H screen) made it an awesome game. the camera also (sideline 10/6) gave it a televised feel. i think the best thing was i felt like i had a chance to win if i just played good ball, (which i didn't), without the predetermined outcome you get with other games. but what i think sets this game apart is that the player lock feature allows you to enjoy the play of your AI teammates and appreciate the liittle things that go on during a game in between scoring, picks and screens being set, movement on and off ball, the jockeying for position in post play, and the like.

almost forgot, Stevenson finished with 26 pts. 4 boards, Hill had 12 (mostly on the break) Howard had 10 pts. 1 blk, 8 rebs. and Battie had 5 pts. 3 blks, 6 boards. Dooling had 7 pts. and Arroyo contributed too, with Arroyo pushing the ball and going to the line 3 times and converting on 5 of 6 attempts. turkoglu lit me up for 4 treys too. nelson had 4 or 5 pts to go along with his assists.the rest of the stats i can't remember now . but kudos to you guys on your hard work and in depth game logs, they got me hyped to start playing this game again, and hopefully it'll hold me over til live 07 and nba 2k7 release. i'll post more logs as i can.

You gotta get a practice game with the Legends Players. They are simply amazing at drawing fouls. They actually play big time on both Levels especially Jordan. He's a beast attacking the basket and will dunk on anyone.

yeah i will, pm. right now my 6 yr old is playing mlb 2k6 on the big screen, and since he's out of school, i have to request time with him on the xbox 360.
btw, how long did it take you to make all those CAPS? it took me about an hour just to create myself, (i am a perfectionist and wasn't satisfied until it looked as close to me as i could get it.) EA did an outstanding job with the graphical tools in the CAP mode, if someone skilled at doing CG sat down and gave it a whirl they could probably get those Legends players spot on. but again, thanks for all your hard work. btw, who you pickin to win the Western and Eastern Finals? Championship? i think Detroit is done, and I (no offense) like Phoenix in seven over the Mavs, with the Suns winning in six over the Heat.

                    Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

i lost to the wizards 96-90 last night to go 3-2 in my season with hte sonics.
arenas lit me up for 31pts. 12-21fgs. 4-10 3's. jamison was a factor in the 1st half but dissapeared in the 2nd and only finished with 9pts. butler had a quiet game but hit some clutch shots in the 4th and ended with 12pts.
i lost because i shot terribly and forced too many 3's. ray allen went 4-13 3's.

i want the heat to win so gp can finally get that title and retire his old weary legs.
i think the heat will do it. shaq seems determined to get the title this season.
i would personally love to see a heat/suns final but dirk is too good [shouldve been mvp] and the mavs have more depth and size than the pesky suns who have been amazing.
next year with amare back the suns will barnstorm their way to the title. i cantt see anything stopping them next season.

                      Re: nbalive[360] game logs.

finally back on a winning track after losing 3 straight games of a massive 6 game road trip.
beat the celtics comfortably as my sonics came out intense and held them to 38pts for the half. winning 108-92. finishin my road trip an average 3/3.
ray allen who has been slumping big on this road trip broke out with 37pts 5-11 3's.
                      rashard chipped in with 28.
paul pierce was in foul trouble early and scored most of his 18pts in the 2nd half but it was not enough to rally. wally did his thing. 18pts and al jefferson had a good game with 18pts and 8rebs on 7/8fgs.
a very enjoyable game. i played smart and held their shooters in check for the most part. it also helped that my big 2 were draining their shots.

had a great game against the bulls. just toe to toe and intense.
the bulls came out hard. hinrich was running the offense to near perfection and had 17pts and 6assists at halftime! chandler took control of the sonics inside with offensive rebounds. finished with 14pts and 11rebs. and nocioni played great and ended up with a monster night.
the bulls led most the 1st half by double digits. but my sonics at home would not fade away. my bench was huge for the game. wilkins had 16pts, pedro had 6pts and watson and ridnour did their thing. the game was tied a high scoring 84/84 going into the 4th. i wanted to hold them to under 20pts for the last period but nocioni caught fire and had 18pts in the 4th to finish with a massive 37pts and 5assists. he was awesome. i neutralized hinrich in the 2nd half and he finished with 22pts and 11assists. gordon struggled most the game. he came out hard in the 4th [as usual] but only had 13pts at 5-13fgs. the 4th quarter was a frantic highscoring fest with both teams just making huge shots. none were bigger than ray allens massive shotclock beating 3 over 2players in the last minute to give me a 6pt lead. but nocioni was on fire and hit a 3 from the baseline to make it a 3pt game with 30secs to go. i ended up winning from the line as the pesky bulls ran out of firepower in the end. i won 121-115.
                          wat a game though.

had a sensational game against the kings.
both teams played an excellent team game where everyone was involved. my bench played huge. ridnour had 9pts and 7assists. collison had 16pts and 6rebs. wilcox got mvp with 20pts and 9rebs..
the kings came out great guns. bibby hit his first 5shots and artest was a force all game, he finished with 23pts. my sonics chipped away at a double digit deficit in the 2nd half and ended up pulling away in the 4th with some sweet home cookin. but the kings wouild refuse to give in. all 5 starters on sactown scored in double figures. bibby with 17 and 11assists. wells had 17pts, miller had 11pts and 10rebs, abdur-rahim had 12pts. everyone chipped in. but it came down to the last play. the kings had a 1 pt lead after a bibby jumper with 6.9secs to go. i inbound it to allen, he makes a move and goes for a baseline j but gets blocked by artest. 1.4secs to go. i inbound to lewis baseline he turns and makes a baseline J over abdur rahim for the game winner with .02 secs to go.
                            awesome game.

had another game go down to the final shot. this time at the lakers.
and again. my sonics were behind early and made a 2nd half rally to pull another dramatic win out of the bag. i now have a 5 game winning streak.
i should never of won it. i was down by 20 in the 2nd q. but scored and insane 68pts in the 2nd half to take the game 110-107
mvp was me[my created pg]. with 19pts, 7/9fgs and 12assist. i hit a 3 pointer from the top of the key after ray allen drove around a wilcox screen and kicked it out.
ray allen ended with 26pts but his rival kobe had 39pts and was unstoppable for the most part. parker had a great game with 22pts and 9assists. and odom had 17pts 4rebs and 4assists. kwame brown dissapointed with 2/8fgs.
                              another great game.

i just beat the cavs by rallying from 9 down with 4 mins to go and winning by 5.
it was mad. i started draining 3 after 3. it was 4 in a row. 1 by allen. one by me, and 2 by lewis. and just like that the game was mine.
i have put lebron at pg and he and the cavs play more realistic now. he finished with a typical. 30pts, 6rebs and 6assists.
ilguaskas was an inside force on offense with 21pts. and marshall came off the bench to drain 6 3's and score 22pts. but they couldnt hold the lead and stop the sonics offensive explosion.
i am now 10-5 and looking good.
                                rashard lewis had a monster 37pts 4rebs and 3stls,
