I saw Jay-z too when I saw that pic,lol.

First thing that popped off in my head. Why the heck is the ball so freaking small? I think the picture looks pretty nice. The skin looks realistic kind of. More of a vaseline type of glow to the player but that darn ball just kills my buzz. Either EA makes the ball too big or too small. I like how their lighting is too. It's a lot darker than in real life but it kind of brings realism to the court. No type of emotion though, but we did see the video they showed at E3. I'm sure that's one of the last things they add on.

I like what I see. I'm not going to say they're better than 2K though being a 2K fan because I'm seriously not at a point to say that. Two different views. EA has definitely stepped up their game though on the real. I like what I see. If EA does what I am looking for this year, then they may just get my money.....too.......

ok there are 3 photos and none of them look sick or real.

I'm sorry when you see the second photo of him dribbling. The ball is super tiny, his legs are skin, and he's look plastic or like a NBA Marfarlane Figure, like a toy.

To say this look better than 2ksports NBA 2k7 is crazy all their player models looks like photos.

EA still has that animated fake feel to it, and like Peter_OS said, fix the camera angles and definitely the speed and it might still be a great game.

But again its looks about 1 step better than last years, which look like claymation ball players, and that guys Hands are huge and his arms are too long.

No wonder they've kept it quiet this long, I don't think they are too confident in their product themselves. 2 months away and we get 3 photos.

Fix the camera angles in the game. Add a complete dynasty mode. Tweak the AI.

That's all I'm asking for.

...And fix the default speed because it was much too slow last year. That's all I would need...and that's coming from a 2K fan.

I've been a 2K and LIVE fan, mostly sticking with 2K the last few years. After all the 360 debacle with the 2K games last fall and this spring, I may take a break from them this fall and check out EA.

LIVE was decent last Fall on the 360, it just needed polish.

I don't understand either... NBA 2K6 was a much stronger title than NBA Live 06 for the 360... and NHL 2K6 wasn't so bad itself... the only bad game I've seen is MLB 2K6 (the physics and player models), but even that game isn't that bad.

I think he's referring to the freeze problems and glitches that some gamers experienced with NBA2K6, CHoops 2K6, NHL2K6, and MLB2K6. I thought NBA2K6 was one bad@ss hoops game and looking forward to this years version.

For the record I only purchased NBA2K6 last year and I never had any freeze problems.

That didn't bother me as the graphics were good enough and some of the problems the original Xbox game had were addressed in the 360 version. I thought it was a fantasic game.
