I think he's referring to the freeze problems and glitches that some gamers experienced with NBA2K6, CHoops 2K6, NHL2K6, and MLB2K6. I thought NBA2K6 was one bad@ss hoops game and looking forward to this years version.

For the record I only purchased NBA2K6 last year and I never had any freeze problems.

I thought those problems were because they used something with the hard drive and they were remedied with clearing the cache or something. I guess it was just something 2k games decided to do since oblivion had the same problem.

I don't understand either... NBA 2K6 was a much stronger title than NBA Live 06 for the 360... and NHL 2K6 wasn't so bad itself... the only bad game I've seen is MLB 2K6 (the physics and player models), but even that game isn't that bad.

I actually began to prefer Live's gameplay after getting my hands on PM's rosters and settings. 2K turned me off really quick in basketball last year. I can't speak for their hockey or baseball titles because I don't play hockey and my baseball cravings were met by MLB 06.

first off I own all 2k6 games on XBOX 360, and the only one in the group that froze was Major League....

only issue I had from NBA 2k6, was that cache' file, that kept making my replays turn into still photos. but once that was adjusted, no issues since.

my franchise never froze in that or College Hoops, not once...

Major League on my launch 360 froze like crazy until the patch...But on my other 360 I never had problems....

Either way back to the subject, these NBA Live 07 player models look like crap, and I'm sorry, EA should be able to do better than that crap...Like 2k's intro says," Your In The Big Leagues Now Baby, Your In The Big Leagues".

EA should realize its next-gen, and that doesn't include foggy blurred out stadiums. It should include more realistic player models. And they've proven on all their titles they can't get a body proportion right for nothing.

Those 3 photos aren't impressive, and I'd truly like to see just how bad, this game is going to move in motion...Sept. 26th around the corner, where the gameplay videos. Not fake trailers..

Yeah... well great sliders will revive any game... my sliders and football forever's sliders were 2 huge hits when it came to NBA 2K6... either one were going to give you great gameplay.

I think he's referring to the fact that when you tryed to play a game it froze, and when you finished a year simulating a dynasty (Since you couldn't play it) it froze. 2K better fix this crap or I am going to go with a game that works.

Well, going back and forth with NBA 2K, it has turned out to be a pretty great experience. Messing with things out the box really takes away from the gameplay. I've finally realized that. Clutch on is good. I think that Live really has some good skin textures. It's almost like night and day. When the reviews came out earlier about the two games, I couldn't figure what was different. I didn't like the Live models but the skin textures and lighting was so realistic. It's great have two great games going at it for the market share.

Yep, and the clearing cache function didn't even fix the still screen half time show...

Nice try buddy but hey the player models are far from how you described them in your post. But hey there's always 2K for you and their perfect player models right?

Calm down fellas...

Everyone has their own opinion. I personally love the player models on Live. And I love the Arenas. But I can see how some folks might not like it.

I can't wait to see some 5 on 5 videos.
