So does that mean that all that hype about the 10-man mocap was.....crap?? See, I'm still confused about that. Not that it really matters now. I'll definitely like to see what it looks like. Freaking September can't come soon enough, but I defintiley can wait for great things. If that commentary has expanded in depth to a new height, then I'm giving EA props from finally doing something extremely productive enough to make me interested. Seems like I keep hearing great things from that company since E3.

In every game Ive played the last 2 yrs, the game always has to play 4 guards even though Chicago never does that. That just kills me.
That has always sucked. I am liking the sound of the new setup.

Im not sure but that's far too long to keep a flawed gameplay engine. That makes no sense in any kind of way.

EA should be glad they didn't lose their grip. Had 2K not changed its stance trying to keep up with the crap EA had been releasing, they could've potentially captured quite a few more fans.

The player rotations and the commentary have me excited. Hopefully the rotations feature will be properly implemented, albeit I'm worried about trades. What if a guy who generally plays X amount of minutes, goes to a team who already has a guy playing X amount of minutes... what happens then?

Either way, I'm sure it'll be better than what we've had, which is just depth charts.

For those who worry about not having their name in the game for your custom players, well EA should have you covered this year with over 550 player-created names in the database.
In addition to what's been posted, I also like this. I've never understood why it was so hard to make the game say names of players already in the game.

What if a guy who generally plays X amount of minutes, goes to a team who already has a guy playing X amount of minutes... what happens then?
For one, I'm hoping it will affect chemistry between those two guys, you can't have both be happy with reduced minutes, and secondly I'm hoping the AI is able to adjust accordingly, and for example if you have a 35 MPG SG and get another one who is better than your SF, then you give him the rest of the 13 minutes at SG, and give him another 17 minutes at SF with your SF now playing 31 MPG.

Couldnt you or the cpu adjust accordingly to the players attributes?

Co-sign on this. The road VC took with 2k4 reallly knocked them off course. I'm thinking this may be the first year in a long time that both VC and EA games play well out of the box.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.
